Another correction of the previous correction. NEWSFLASH: Nobody cares what illegal deals were made or by who. He is getting NOTHING. Here's your hat-what your hurry?

Another example of the Gazetto editors making complete fools of themselves pushing something that no one supports. Any DEM City Council rubber stamp that votes YES! for a giveaway gift for horrible Mastro is done in politics. This is Eric Elys redux. Nobody cares how many corrections the Gazetto prints.

Anyone unsure about this should immediately resign. How stunad are these "leaders"? Don't answer. This giveaway is a complete no-go. People want him out NOW! Forget about ANY parting gifts or booby prizes. Give him a Patroon award for "service". He'd fit right in with the other DEM political hacks Mayor SOS awards.

This is another outstanding mess created by the incompetence by the worst Mayor in City history. Mastro should have been fired after the reassessment cob job. People were screaming at the do nothing Mayor over that. Pathetic and only in Schenectady County. Dysfunction capital of Upstate NY.

Is this the correction to the wrong correction to the editorial correction of the correction? Can you say yellow journalism neighbors?

Reminds one of when the stock mkt. tanks big time-Was only a "correction'.  We dare not use the "C" word(crash).   It's all in the wording.

Or you could say totally clueless. Maybe if one of them owned a residence in the City they would get a grip. No one supports your position. Whatever it is today. Stop printing nit wit corrections to corrections. It only makes the Gazetto look even more foolish (if possible).

Picks for county posts
Marv Cermak

Schenectady Assessor Patrick Mastro, who put in for retirement last October and then surprised most by pulling his papers, headed to the pasture for real last week. He became big-time controversial over the way he treated property owners during a recent citywide reassessment project.
City Hall insiders said Tina Dimitriadis, assessor at neighboring Troy for the past several years, has the inside track to be picked for the $75,000 post.
Also in the appointment vein, Debbie Mancini is expected to be named the $115,000 county finance commissioner at next month's Schenectady County Legislature meeting.
Mancini has been running county finance operations since last spring, when Commissioner George Davidson retired. She was his deputy for many years.
Davidson, a 37-year county employee, left without any deserving flourishes-type treatment. During his admirable career, he was the unsung hero responsible for the county's longtime top bond rating from Moody's Investment Services.
Besides finance duties, throughout 2001 and part of 2002, he was interim county manager during a lengthy search for a new full-time manager.

Why should they? The police chief, old assessor, Commissioner, finance department, all commute. No surprise that more qualified City resident Nick Barber is passed over solely for political reasons.

Good for Troy.   Sounds like some budgetary restraint was in the works there.   Their gain is our loss?   Would probably be welcomed with open arms if moves to the Electric City.
