I really dont understand the bank building......it's a virtual money world.....why do we need banks anymore.....the elders have it all filled out on
government forms....the youth use the internet and do their banking/purchasing on line.....you can apply for loans on line.....what's the purpose
unless they are going to turn them into little jails......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

In response to this thread. I really am not anxious for more "national" businesses. i am anxious for more locally owned quality entrepreneurs to have businesses here and everywhere.

I think it would be a good idea to raise county sales tax rates to 5% or 6%, so the extra revenue can be given to politically connected, multi-million dollar commercial developers that donate generously to local political parties. They can use the money for tearing down buildings that were once occupied by local businesses, and give tax breaks to the large chain restaurants that can compete directly with the few remaining locally owned businesses.

Just think GB, if the local democrat party can get their hands on that corporate money, they will be unstoppable. And it will create more patronage opportunity for the apparatchiks like DVOR.

That can be considered patronage as it was unpaid.

Until they found the cash in the budget to pay you. Which they didn't since they gave it to the "out of towners" that the assembly and county democraps ordered the board to hire. Everytime I think of that fiasco, I ask "Would Kirvin or Constantino ever buckle in and hire out-of-towners at the behest of the higher up democraps?"

NO, never in a million years! They would have told the state and county dems to go $hit in their hat! How politically S T U P I D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about GE putting their battery facility at the vacant Feuz Mfg. building on Burdeck.  Or a company that uses CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) as a fuel source to run a small generator that can quick charge a battery powered car since there are no charging stations.  Customers would pay for the gas needed to run the generators via a credit card (like pay at the pump).  Locate the generators at shopping malls, super markets, State parking lots, municipal lots, so whenever someone leaves their car for an hour or so, it would be charging and increasing the range of battery cars.

I would suggest that you call Susan Savage about the GE battery facility. You may want to call and confirm the hourly wage promised WHEN and IF this facility actually materializes. I believe it is approx $10/hr....maybe $13/hr!

And while you're at it, you may want to ask her if it's true that this will not be up and running until 2016!!! And that is IF it does!!

And then you may want to re-check the facts with people OUTSIDE of the 'friends and family club'!

Just thought you might want to verify the facts since GE got millions in tax breaks from Savage/Metroplex!

Correction -- my service to the town can NOT be considered patronage as it was unpaid.  I helped out
at the Special Town Board Meeting when the 1st Deputy was away on her honeymoon - wasn't reimbursed
for my time nor did I seek reimbursement.    Period -- end of story.
