So who, exactly, is or should take responsibility for teaching their child about sex and it's consequences? I would think it is the parents? No?
Saying 'will sex happen...sure', is a form of acceptance. It is like saying 'will murder happen...sure'! But there are consequences built into our justice system for murder. Sure it's a lesson 'learned', but it is too late.
Parents should buck the public education system and pull out all the stops out when it comes to their children about sex! Parents should instill what is right and what is wrong to their children. Parent's roll is to just let your kids go about making decisions they are not prepared to make. And this goes beyond sex!
Kids need close, minute by minute parental supervision and guidance on what is morally right or wrong in any decision making process. They should not be left to 'fend for themselves' as so many parents appear to do today.

you're right the 'man' never has to learn....abortion only affects one sex.....it's the woman's responsibility to close that door, kill that door or open that door......
as for the 'man'....hence welfare and selfishness of both parties involved......
it's a right to have children but is it an obligation? and if so who's obligation is it? the woman's? the man's? or society's?

it's not just 'kids'(girls) having abortions.....women do to more than we think.....and what is the definition of a kid? 13, 14, 15, 16,17, 20 21, 25???? the conversations in the world of mainstream tv target kids as also young adults,,,until they are 30!......do we ever grow up???? the lack of responsibility is appalling.......
