Are you a supporter of 'Piss-Christ?'

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

A large part of the County Budget is spent on Social Service Programs, Medicaid, etc .. all programs that
are  UNFUNDED STATE MANDATES .

When the state 'cuts spending', and no longer funds mandates(cuts spending), one would ASSUME that the counties would follow suit and cut spending as well........no?

Susan Savage and the liberal socialist machine has created this mess by encouraging welfare, tax sucking people to 'moveon in' to schenectady county. The liberal socialists created this mess and expecting the hard working taxpayers to foot the bill.

THAT is why there are sooooo many empty homes that people have just walked away from because their taxes are too high and they can no longer afford them.

Thank you Susan Savage for making schenectady county one of the highest taxed counties in the country!!!!!

I do know that every year when county leaders go to Albany for their "lobby day" .. they ask the State
Legislature to stop unfunded state mandates ...  there are a lot of these ...
the most recent is the state throwing full responsibility for dog licensing on to the local government---
in Rotterdam .. that means that the town will pick up the full cost of running the dog licensing program
which the State has mandated but will no longer fund after Dec. 31, 2010.     That means that the current
town dog license fee of $6 will have to go up to at least $12 on January 1 --- and probably will have to
stop giving people over 65 an exemption from the license fee.     So after January 1,  I am sure that
some potential candidate  for Town Board   (probably GOP) will blame the  current Town Board for raising
dog licensing fees ---- but if we don't raise the funds to cover the state mandated program through the
license fees .. it will have to come from the property tax.      The Town Board will be blamed  but the FACT
is that it is the State Government .. which is mandating the program and then failing to provide ANY
funding for it.

so we want to make the dog license fee more palatable by 'bringing up' a dog park......THAT is how this state gets F'D up......the isnt for your dog and yourself to get
exercise.......

as for state mandates.....dorks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
