Asking a community to come together to plan their future is the purpose for these meetings.  There is money available to help with the planning.  Come and voice your concerns.  The steering committee will be happy to listen.

Rotterdam Junction is an old settlement that needs to be given a little economic injection.  Not too much so it's quaintness is gone, but a little sprucing and attention to make others want to visit there.  The school must stay open.  It's important to the small community and we heard that very clear.

Better the folks that live there come forward than the electeds in town hall decide what's best.

These public sessions are mostly PUBLIC INPUT SESSIONS  ... except for the marketing analysis and
those nitty gritty technical parts of the study  .. EVERYTHING in the ways of visioning/planning for the future
is 100% generated by the residents themselves

Sure, like hiring the architects and engineers, and getting a "study" done. There will be nothing but SS handpicked agents of doom on any group that makes any decision in this county. Just like the Third Reich.

SS Savage and her stooges have the planning process backwards. First they make all the decisions then they invite community input as window dressing.

All decisions have been already made for you by the SS Savage Reich. They have Rotterdam in their sites for increased revenue generation. Other towns are maxed out. The County Home is heading your way.

The county is not involved in the BOA Study.

Not necessarily -- and the fact is that some of the recommendations .. such as zoning language changes
which need to be addressed as part of the COMP Plan will be AIDED by this study.    There are some zoning
issues specific to the Junction because of its location on top of the aquifer recharge area and proximity to the
town's waterwells.    So actually the BOA Study will help in the drafting of zoning language changes that will endup in the final COMP PLAN.

It is easy to be negative ... It actually takes some effort to attend the meetings and be a positive and
part of the process of improving the town.

I was very very positive for Hamburg St and I did attend the junction meetings about the water tower etc.......what was accomplished
was a bunch of F'EN pillow fluffing.....nice as it is and as much as I like my pillows fluffed.....it doesn't see the future....

EX: I want a boat. how do I get it? borrow? steal? cash? time share? etc.....well, I think I have to work. then I have to pay for it. then
I have to worry about the upkeep. I also have to consider the use of it and will it stand up to the future and changes of a lifetime?

well,,,,fixing paint, facades, blacktop are all nice, they have to be paid for, they have to be kept up and do they provide the foundation
for future changes of a lifetime...? our pillow fluffing is a form of stealing and borrowing....time and money spent on things that
go out of date and dont provide across the board for larger changes and future changes.

RIGHT, in other words Senders, if you don't do it THEIR way, you are a no-good P.O.S.
