If ANG stayed a REP he could have walked into an Assembly seat in 2012.

Did you see SS Savage's new TV commercial? ROTFLMAO!! An all white fantasy land-for a City that's a third minority. Now she has the NAACP on her back. She has got to be the most arrogant politician in the entire County. People are starting to examine her work history.

Bombers is a new addition to the so-called Proctors Block downtown. The original Bombers is located in Albany and both establishments are popular with local college students and others.

The area features several restaurants, Proctors Theatre and the Movieland Cinema.

Thank you SS Savage for all your hard work fighting high taxes and creating three hot dog jobs!

That's why we have the 15th highest property taxes in the NATION and the highest unemployment rate since the Great Depression. A new low in political advertising. Everyone is laughing at her at the County Building. I especially love the opening identifier like people in the area don't know where Schenectady is-and avoid it like the plague.

It reminds me of that movie "Life is Beautiful" (don't think I am downplaying the Holocaust) in a way when people are that far off the mark trying to persuade everyone (for political reasons only in this case) how GREAT it all is!!! Of course her and the dirtbag boss constant Gardner talk down to the whole world like we are all little children too so the similarities to the movie are there in that respect as well!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

The only"dirtbags" are the mudslinging Perpetual Negativity Choir.   Since you folks can't think rationally
enough to have a civil debate, you have to resort to lies and name calling.   You remind me of a bunch of

Argument leads to shooting downtown
Business owners downplay isolated event
BY STEVEN COOK Gazette Reporter

An early morning argument downtown erupted into a shooting Friday, injuring one, police said.
A 26-year-old Schenectady man was shot in the thigh on State Street, opposite Bombers Burrito Bar, just before 1 a.m. Friday.
The victim and the suspect had been seen leaving Bombers. They also had an argument, police spokesman Sgt. Luciano Savoia said. The victim was shot shortly after the argument, police said.
The victim was standing on the opposite side of the street with friends near 440 State St. when the suspect pulled up in a vehicle and got out. It wasn’t clear if he was driving or was a passenger, Savoia said. The man retrieved a shotgun from the back seat, walked up and shot the victim, Savoia said.
The victim was taken to Ellis Hospital, then Albany Medical Center. His condition was unavailable.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, Savoia said.
Police also reviewed downtown surveillance cameras. Savoia declined to say what police found. Savoia said he expected the department would beef up already existing foot and car patrols.
But, he noted, this was an argument between two people, not a random act.
“It could have happened anywhere,” Savoia said.
Police have also continually cited statistics saying the downtown is safe.
Bombers owner Matt Baumgartner noted nothing happened inside the business.
He also said it was important to mention that he couldn’t remember a similar incident happening downtown. Bombers has been open for about 18 months.
“I feel like they’re doing an amazing job keeping the downtown safe,” Baumgartner said. “This was an incident between two people who had an obvious history. I don’t think it’s reflective of downtown Schenectady.” ..................>>>>.................>>>>......................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01904&AppName=1

Shooting wounds city's renaissance
By Paul Nelson Staff Writer
Published: 12:00 a.m., Saturday, September 18, 2010

SCHENECTADY -- An employee of Bombers Burrito Bar pointed across State Street in the area of an arts building where the shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. Friday.

State Street was business as usual for the bustling lunchtime crowd, many of whom were oblivious to the gun violence that had occurred just hours earlier.

Meanwhile, police on Friday were hunting for a gunman who brazenly shot another man in the leg in the showpiece downtown district that local politicians have been touting as part of the renaissance in the Electric City.

The shooting raised city resident Sue Taylor's concerns about safety in downtown Schenectady, which has been undergoing a transformation, fueled by the recent openings of several new retail businesses, eateries, and a movie theater.

Taylor, 48, who said she works at the public library, seemed incredulous about the gunplay, saying it "solidifies my reluctance to come downtown after 9 p.m."

"This is starting to get me a little nervous, people getting shot here," she said.

Police spokesman Sgt. Luciano Savoia said the incident began when two patrons leaving Bombers, a popular eatery, got into a verbal dispute. One of them, whom Savoia identified as a 26-year-old Schenectady man, walked across State Street with his buddies to an area in front a dance studio. Not long after, a car pulled up, the driver got out and retrieved a shotgun from the back seat of the vehicle, Savoia said. The suspect then approached his would-be victim, fired one shot into the man's left thigh, hopped back into the car and fled. Savoia said crime scene investigators recovered a shell casing from the scene.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Ellis Hospital and later transferred to Albany Medical Center Hospital..............>>>>.....................>>>>..................http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/Shooting-wounds-city-s-renaissance-663669.php

And...Cue the PR machine.

The fact that a Downtown establishment attracts clientele that carry a shotgun in their vehicle and are apparently willing to use it speaks volumes of the Schenectady culture.

This shooting is a symptom of the larger problems facing Schenectady.  To say this is isolated incident is a joke.  Talk to the people that live in Schenectady, they'll tell you that during the summer, gun shots are heard regularly in the city.

It was only a matter of time before a shooting like this would happen.

The Schenectady Miracle? That a hack with no qualifications nor business expertise could be elected and then re-elected to the disgraced County Legislature. When is someone in the press going to review her work record?

Surprised the Gazetto printed anything. It goes against the constant cheer leading. TU is closer to the mark. This is hardly unique Downtown.

How did the SPD not catch the suspect yet?  The victim was arguing with the gunman while leaving the bar.  That would lead me to believe the victim knows the gunman or at the least has a description of him.  Shouldn't a description and a police sketch of the gunman be broadcast on the local news networks asking for the commmunity's help? Or is the victim not talking to police?  I would think the employees of Bombers would have a description of the gunman.  After all, they most likely served the gunman.  I find it odd that no names were released and no suspect named.  Why isn't the SPD releasing more details to the press and urging people to call that have any information?

It's all part of the white wash.  We have a gunman that is armed and dangerous loose in Schenectady and the public hasn't been alerted of what to be on the lookout for.

Are the same 241 "cop"servatives that control the SPD and that voted for Savage during the conservative party primary write-in, intentionally keeping this attempted murder story out the press?

Where's Sheriff Dagastino during all of this?  There's a gunman driving around with a loading shotgun in Schenectady County, what are they doing to catch him?
