Can someone tell them that the start of the holiday season is Thanksgiving day and not before, and return the parade to the day after Thanksgiving |

Can someone tell them that the start of the holiday season is Thanksgiving day and not before, and return the parade to the day after Thanksgiving
People have been saying this since the name and date change. And ever since these brilliant minds made the change, attendance has gone down yearly! |

Wednesday night before Thanksgiving? These people are totally nuts. No wonder they are pleading for sponsors. Mike couldn't be more correct. It's a Christmas Parade and it must return to Friday night AFTER Thanksgiving. Like it was for decades. Mercury Morris is the grinch that ruined our parade. Proctor's is probably having another big show from Mop & Bucket-lol. |

Tell that to the Gazette.

The Chamber/County hacks have totally ruined the Christmas parade. Everything they stick their beck into collapses. Back in the day when Carl Co, Barney's and Wallace's ran things we didn't have any problems. This is another example of the public sector trying and failing to do something that the private sector did for decades. They are more concerned with political correctness than a well attended parade. How can you plan to see this when every year it's on a different day? Same thing Downtown, the one real success, is independent Farmer's Market. |

Nov. 20 is a Saturday night not Wednesday night befroe Thanksgiving. I hope BruceTrachtenberg wins and all the anti-Christmas parade people can appear before him. Benny Call Fr. Morette and tell him abuot the injustice being done here re: the parade. |

Bottom line you don't have a Christmas Parade b4 Thanksgiving and the best day was always the Friday after the holiday. |

Yeah but they gave that up. Having the day after highlighted black Friday and hyped up the spirit monitor. You certainly can have the CHRISTMAS parade a week before. The bottom line, Shadow, is the parade $ucks. |
