SCHENECTADY — A 14-yearold boy was taken to Albany Medical Center after being stabbed in the midsection around 2 a.m. Saturday, according to city police. Police responded to 23 Odell Street after multiple calls of fi ght and mention of a knife, said Patrolman Adriel Linyear. The boy's condition was not available as of Saturday night; his identity was not released. Linyear said the police did not have anyone in custody, but an individual ran from the scene, a witness stated. The investigation by the Schenectady police was ongoing as of Saturday night.

Police arrested a Kelton Avenue woman and charged her in the stabbing of a 14-year-old teen early Saturday morning. Letesha Henry, 28, was arrested a couple of hours after the stabbing and arraigned on charges of assault, attempted murder and endangering the welfare of a child. The 14-yearold boy is in critical condition after being stabbed in the midsection around 2 a.m. Saturday, according to city police. Police responded to 23 Odell St. after multiple calls of a fight and mention of a knife, said Patrolman Adriel Linyear. The boy was found at the scene with a stab wound in his back when police arrived.
