Hey DVR no threat intended. Loose lips sink ships. Take a chill. The blog has consumed you. Paranoia is creeping into your mind.

OK ... the conversation that I had about the Assessor's position was not a privileged conversation
anyway.

That's what I am saying Bumblethru.  DVR makes some pretty bold statements that may be unfounded or his/her opinion.  When talking about legal agreements, he/she should not be passing along information in this forum.  Might get himself/herself in a legal pickle.  Can't say we haven't tried to tell her/him.  I think others have tried also.  Time to move on to the next thread. Ciao!

wow raspy.....LEGAL PICKLE?......you need to get out on the internet more....really!!! This blog pales in comparison to the hundreds and thousands of blogs out there!!

DVR is repeating what s/he 'heard'. I doubt that dvr made it up! Perhaps someone gave dvr misinformation, but nonetheless, dvr was just repeating what he heard.

When someone posts ANYTHING, it makes everyone 'dig' for, or validate the truth. IMHO of course

Who has a contract with the town --- employee or vendor --- is a matter of public information.

Saying that the Assessor has "some kind of legal arrangement" that binds his employment to
a specified period of time -- isn't betraying any confidential information.

Not quite sure how saying that a town employee has a 5 year contract -- is a "bold statement" ???

You implied that if the Assessor were to be removed from office that it would take something just short of a felony. One might assume that if he leaves his position he committed a crime. NOT COOL DVR.

My understanding is that unless he leaves on his own ... he can't be unilaterally removed from
office by the town board before the end of the period specified in the contract except for a very limited
set of circumstances -- convicted of a crime is one of them.

So basically, he can't be removed just because folks don't like the fact that he is an out-of-towner or
that he was appointed by a Republican administration.

Capeesh ???

geez, and you ran on the platform of firing him! Why didn't you espouse that idea earlier?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I ran for public office in 2005 -- long before the current occupant of the office was appointed.
So I could not have run on the platform of firing him.     The fact is the platform that I ran on
did not call for firing anyone -- except the GOP members of the Town Board that I was running
against.

I do not believe DVR is speaking on behalf of the current administration.  I'm pretty sure that DVR is a political neophyte basking in his/her   15 minutes of fame.  Personally, he does not appear to be fit for office by his bizarre and sometimes idiotic rambling posts.

Personally, I don't think he knows what the hell he is talking about most of the time.  His opinions are not the views expressed by the current administration and for that he has diminished his potential.

DVR has mentioned that he is in 'tight' with this present administration and obviously a liberal socialist dem loyalist.
One can only come to the conclusion that DVR is their mouthpiece!.....no?

He IS NOT the mouthpiece for the present administration.  He has been blinded by the bright lights of "Rotterwood."  The members of this
forum have "defrocked" him.  LOL  JMHO

He regurgitates what he hears, what others WANT to get out, and opinions to beef up his illustrious position on the "parks council", with, by his own admission, aspirations for future political office.

He's a mouthpiece, scapegoat and is being used, IMHO.

I never claimed to be speaking on behalf of anybody but myself.  The only posts that could be interpreted
as speaking officially for any Rotterdam town entity are the posts about the Parks and Recreation
Commission.

I have always attempted to answer questions with the best available information that I can find -- if you
feel that is idiotic or rambling .. it really is your problem not mine.   I will continue to try to be a positive,
constructive voice for progress in Rotterdam.   When or if, I ever run for public office then we can let the
voters decide what my they think of my potential.
