Look at that picture, what a bunch of shlt turds and dweebs the whole bunch is. They can't wait to fall over themselves to pander to the mad men with rusty swords made of Damascus Steel.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Only in the opinion of another sniveling appeaser would boxy be right.  I'm sure you both have portraits of Neville Chamberlain in your dining room.

...yeah, he is right. Why would we go to war with the muslim extremists? They only have a worldwide cabal of terror and hate, kill tens of thousands of people all over the globe, are involved in every major conflict today, and have a fundraising network that is protected and even run (CAIR) by American liberal democraps. Lets focus on the few wingnuts like that Baptist Church group that protests the funerals and spews nasty words. Maybe we should put 100% of our energy there.

Just give them all human rights awards at the UN and make a speech flagellating the USA, all will be well.

WOW...FIVE STRAW MAN ARGUMENTS IN ONE POST.

I guess in all your examples, I would study the ideological beliefs of Baptists, Buddhists, Hockey Players, Hindu's, and Muslims and determine if the radicalized teachings of that religion would pose a threat to the nation.

Then I would study the history of each and determine if there was a pattern of aggression around the world toward a specific group of people, religion, or culture.   I would find out if 9/11 was an isolated incident by a random group of radicalized terrorist or if it is related to any other similar terrorist acts against American interests(maybe the 1993 WTC bombing, Africa Embassy bombing, U.S.S. Cole).

So let's say we see a patternĀ that it's the radical Hockey Players that are the common thread that have been radicalized. We see Hockey Players posting Youtube videos quoting versus out of the Hockey Player holy book and chanting death to the west, cutting off peoples heads with razor sharp hockey sticks.  Now we have a good suspicion that some Hockey Players are barbaric and susceptible to radicalization, and pose a threat to the American population.

Next I would determine how well funded these hockey players are, and if they are receiving support from hostile nations or organizations that may have interests in these radicalized hockey players and use them through proxy to attack us with a more sophisticated weapon.(chemical, biological, or nuke)  We discover that the executives of the NHL is funding these radicalized hockey players.  And we realize some of these NHL executives are actually former radical hockey players. But we don't know exactly which ones.

So now a group of Hockey players want to open a hockey training facility in the heart of one of your cities.  This may be a legit proposal, but these hockey players make this proposal not knowing where the funding is going to come from. They said some funding will be coming from other NHL executives from over seas.  Is it the radical NHL executives or non-radical?  We don't know.  Either way, they are totally disregarding the feelings of those family and friends of the victims on 9/11.

Based on the information compiled, I have an better understanding of what type of person is most likely to threaten violence against America and American interests.

Boxy, I would love to live in your simplistic world of A + B = C  and there are no other variables.  But the grown-ups in the world need to take into consideration many other facts and variables to make sound decisions.  You on the other hand - do not.  You only use partial information to fit your left wing ideological beliefs, regardless of facts and reality.

The Conservatives that are leading this Attack on Islam are not totally useless...
Osama BinLaden finds them VERY useful in his recruiting drive to find more Suicide bombers.

Does America Hate Islam???
Just pick up any US newspaper!
BinLaden doesn't need to convince gullible young Muslim men that Islam is at war... US Conservatives are doing it for him.

I believe Clinton tucking tail and running after 18 soldiers died in the "Black Hawk Down" incident in Mogadishu is what emboldened the radical Muslims, NOT conservatives identifying the threat.  Retreating in Mogadishu made these radical Muslims believe it was worth laying down their lives to defeat the world Super Power.  After all, that's when Bin Laden called America the "paper tiger" with no will to fight, since there was no formidable response to the growing number of terrorist type attacks against American interests.

Oh wait...He did lob a few missiles into an aspirin factory in Sudan in an attempt to wag the dog and get the media away from the Monica BJ story.

CICERO,
Read about Ronny the RayGun and his disaster in Beirut.

Reagan had the US Marines take the "low ground" and not take normal precautions to show the US forces in a non hostile way.

It cost the lives of 241 American servicemen including 220 of my brother Marines.

Reagan swore revenge... He declared that the guilty would be punished... he talked & talked, then withdrew with no action against the terrorists involved.
(October 23, 1983, Beirut, Lebanon, was the largest loss of the  US Marines since the Battle of Iwo Jima.)
U.S. President Ronald Reagan called the attack a "despicable act" and pledged to keep a military force in Lebanon... 4 months later Reagan Withdrew US troops and changed the subject... He invaded Granada.

If you're looking for the opening act of Terror against the USA with no consequences... Look to Reagan in Lebanon.

O.K...So we agree that there are Muslim terrorist coming out of the Middle East?  I don't care if you blame it on Reagan, Bush the first, Clinton, or Bush the second.  As long as you agree that there is a problem with Muslim terrorist coming our of the Middle East.

I agree with you, Reagan should have leveled Lebanon.  Let's stop pretending terrorism is a benign problem that happens randomly, and is as likely out of the Christian community as it is out of the Muslim community.

CICERO...

96% of the population of Saudi Arabia is Muslim... SO... anything that comes out of Saudi is MUSLIM.

Saudi Art is Muslim ART.
Saudi race car drivers  are Muslim race car drivers.
Saudi television is Muslim Television...
Saudi Peace missions are Muslim Peace Missions.
So you would have to call Terrorism that comes out of Saudi MUSLIM TERRORISM, because practically everyone there is a MUSLIM.

And???  It's like saying Find the Muslim... in a country where Everyone IS Muslim.  How is that helpful?

Any group of terrorist who lived in Vatican city could be called Catholic Terrorists...

Terrorism is the problem.  Islam is just an excuse.

    Why the Cordoba House?

Cordoba House is a Muslim-led project which will build a world-class facility that promotes tolerance, reflecting the rich diversity of New York City. The center will be community-driven, serving as a platform for inter-community gatherings and cooperation at all levels, providing a space for all New Yorkers to enjoy.

This proposed project is about promoting integration, tolerance of difference and community cohesion through arts and culture. Cordoba House will provide a place where individuals, regardless of their backgrounds, will find a center of learning, art and culture; and most importantly, a center guided by Islamic values in their truest form - compassion, generosity, and respect for all.

The site will contain tremendous amounts of resources that otherwise would not exist in Lower Manhattan; a 500-seat auditorium, swimming pool, art exhibition spaces, bookstores, restaurants - all these services would form a cultural nexus for a region of New York City that, as it continues to grow, requires the sort of hub that Cordoba House will provide.

If those so called Catholic terrorist that live in Vatican City have an established history of quoting bible verses as they blow themselves up in the name of Jesus Christ, then I will be t e FIRST to call them Catholic terrorist.  But until then, I will live in the reality that - not all Muslim's are terrorist, but it just so happens, most all terrorist are Muslim.

If all AlQaeda terrorists are Muslim... SO what?
Everyone from their country is MUSLIM... And?????

What is the significance that they are Muslim???

Little innocent babies there are Muslim...
Old grannys are Muslim there...
Both Good & Bad people there are  MUSLIM...
and
Terrorists there are also Muslim...

When those in the USA wage war against Islam, they don't hurt the AlQaeda... they assist them.
When those in the USA wage war against Islam, they help Terrorists recruit more for their cause.
When those in the USA wage war against Islam, they also wage war against the innocent babies, the old grannys as well as the Good & Bad people there.

IMO, those who oppose this Mosque in NYC are aiding and abetting the enemy in the enemy quest for more recruits to terrorism.

Hey Box of Rox--you are probably the best thing to hit this forum in months.  Cicero and the gang have no room at their table for anyone else but those who resemble their politics.  Glen Beck is out of his mind and they applaud him.  I belong to many interfaith groups--all support the building of the Cultural Center.
