You started the demise? How, by getting it banned inside town hall? this is a private entity - not subject to yours or anyone elses control or demise, except the administrator - a private, taxpaying citizen of the Town of Rotterdam. Besides, if it was so inconsequential to you and your friends, why are you bothering to stop by regularly? Ya, thought so.
Are you planning on subjugating the first amendment? "Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak without censorship or limitation"
awwwh ... you all think I am as cute as the Pillsbury Dough Boy. I am flattered.

105TH ASSEMBLY DISTRICT Once a backer, Parisi now faces Amedore BY JUSTIN MASON Gazette Reporter
The race for the state Assembly 105th District was a much different story three years ago. Republicans were quick to r a l l y b e h i n d George Amedore Jr., the executive vice president of a successful home building company who received immense name recognition during an appearance on reality television’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” in early 2007. His whirlwind one-month campaign leading up to the special election was aided by Gerard Parisi, who was then the chairman of the Rotterdam Republican Committee. Amedore handily defeated Ed Kosiur to win the seat, a one-time Democratic stronghold. And he cruised to re-election the following year, with Parisi again helping during the campaign. But since that time, the relationship between Amedore and Parisi has become strained. The tension culminated when the Rotterdam Republicans announced Parisi would be their candidate to run for the 105th seat, even though the Schenectady County GOP would later endorse Amedore. Amedore blames the falling-out on a small faction of Republicans that became disgruntled over losing local elections in Rotterdam, where there was nearly a clean sweep of their candidates. He said Parisi is leading a small faction that threatens to divide the district’s Republicans and jeopardize all the work the party did to reclaim the 105th. “It does our party no good,” he said of the primary challenge. “It doesn’t bring any solutions and it doesn’t bring about any unity to what needs to be done in the state of New York.” Parisi sees his primary challenge much differently. He characterized Amedore as someone who has behaved like a “career politician” more interested in retaining his seat than correcting Albany’s dysfunction. “He does things based on how it will affect his re-election,” Parisi said Thursday. “He’s protecting his territory.” The key to winning the primary could be with Rotterdam, which carries a lot of weight in terms of votes within the 105th Assembly District. Schenectady County contains 12,500 Republicans centered mostly in Rotterdam and the city, while Montgomery County has about 10,400 enrolled Republicans. Amedore and Parisi are both campaigning on platforms of fi scal restraint. They also are both supporting the imposition of term limits for politicians in the Legislature, even though their concepts differ. Parisi wants to limit state legislators to a pair of terms. He said imposing this maximum would curb legislators from wastefully spending taxpayer dollars on the seemingly endless efforts at re-election, reduce special interest infl uence on Albany and force politicians to vote with the best interest of their constituency in mind. “All these other problems can be stopped with the term limits,” said Parisi, who is pledging to serve only two terms if elected. Amedore also supports a twoterm limit for legislators, if those terms were expanded to four years. More importantly, however, he would like to limit the period of time a politician can serve as chairman of a committee or one of the Legislature’s powerful leadership positions. “They’re [limits] much needed in all levels and all forms of government,” he said. But to truly change the fi scal condition of the state, Amedore said the business climate must improve. He said his plan to improve New York’s economy includes cutting taxes for small businesses, reducing energy costs, delivering more affordable health care, making education more cost-effective and forcing legislators to be more fi s- cally disciplined in their decisionmaking process. “Let’s make New York a very business-friendly state,” he said. Parisi sees an easier way to reduce the tax burden on state residents: Cut the salaries of state legislators and reduce the number of politicians across the entire state. He said taxpayers can’t afford the burden of supporting six-figure salaries in the Legislature in addition to all the elected officials at the local and county levels. “We have to consolidate services, but we also have to consolidate government,” he said. “If you do that throughout the state, you’re talking big money.” Even if Parisi is successful in knocking Amedore off the ballot, the incumbent will still have two lines in November’s election. Amedore secured endorsements from both the Conservative and Independence parties. Schenectady County Legislator Angelo Santabarbara will run on the Democratic ticket, having no primary opponent. He received endorsements from the Democratic committees in both counties. The onetime Republican enrolled as a Democrat in January following a defection that shocked some members of his former party.

I hear charges may be filed in montogomery county on theft/distruction of parisi signs in montgomery county. - seems emanule has no control in the wild west - and sets of chrome bracelets may be handed out as all sign locations were documented
