Stabbing victim airlifted to AMC SCHENECTADY — City police late Saturday were investigating a stabbing in the Hamilton Hill neighborhood earlier that afternoon. Police were called to Steuben Street, near the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet School, just after 2:30 p.m. An officer on the scene said there was one victim. He had no information on the victim’s age, identity or condition. The victim was airlifted from the athletic fields of Mont Pleasant Middle School to Albany Medical Center by the Life Net helicopter. Paramedics would not comment on the condition of the victim. A call to police department Public Information Officer Sgt. Luciano Savoia was not returned.
