The Uncompromised July 1, 2010 at 8:17 am by Ron Renaud
Hi, my name is Ron Renaud. I’ve been on quite a journey of personal and professional growth over the last 20 years. I’ve been a janitor, a laborer, a mason and a wannabe actor. Now, and for well over a decade, I’ve been a professional and executive coach. I’ve also been teaching coaching skills worldwide for 9 years -and find myself joking about a suburban boy who made good! I live in Rotterdam with my wife and two sons -and our German Shepherd, Daisy.
I’m excited to write this blog for the TU about what it means to live a successful/fulfilled life -a life like, The Uncompromised. The Uncompromised are people from every demographic (age, religion, race, income, etc.) who are consciously intent on leaving a meaningful legacy; so they pursue living that meaningful legacy by discovering and living out their identity (Who am I?) and purpose (Why am I here?) with enthusiasm, courage, endurance and integrity -the Universal Standards of The Uncompromised.
My posts will be a conversation about the concept and philosophy of living as described above. Along the way, I’ll also share the bios of some great people. We’ll discover names we know, like Booker T. Washington and Mother Teresa -but I intend to introduce you to people closer to home (in a number of ways) as well. The men and women we meet will all be very human (read: not perfect), who are using well this great life they’ve been given to impact those around them. There are people worth knowing and revering. Let’s find them, appreciate them, learn from them -let’s become like them… The Uncompromised.
