SCHENECTADY -- It was supposed to be a title bout between two recent statewide champions, the town of Rotterdam and city of Schenectady, to decide whose drinking water tastes the best in Schenectady County. But in what some on hand Thursday for the annual event called an upset, Niskayuna knocked out everyone.
Passersby at the farmers' market outside City Hall participated in a blind taste test of samples from five municipalities -- also including the village of Scotia and town of Glenville -- and wrote down their top two picks.
Representatives from the Schenectady, Rotterdam and Scotia water treatment plants exuded confidence they would be voted the one to move on to the regional round in Albany and then to the finals at the State Fair in Syracuse, which starts Aug. 26.
All the water comes from the same aquifer. Funny that SS has time for this nonsense. She'll show up at an envelope opening after reading the latest polls.
Like I said....they are like flies on sh!t!!! They live, breath, eat and drink politics. I wonder who raised Suzie's NINE kids?

Her Dominican nanny? Excellent analogy. Bring in the terminix! With all the real news they waste newsprint on this phony water tasting. All County water comes from the same aquifer.
Maybe its time to revisit the State Comptroller's many criticisms of Metrograft and seeing if any of his reforms have yet been implemented?-lol-
