He can't. Jobs in Schenectady County fell one thousand from 64,000 to 63,000 since SS Savage took over, according to State figures.

ANG is also lying about the same 3,500 jobs. How many did ANG create in one year and how many did SS Savage create in ten years? NEGATIVE for both of them. THEY LOST JOBS that's why unemployment is up 60%. It's the standard DEM/Savage/Gillen answer 3,500 new jobs. And nobody calls them on it.

The 3500 jobs figure is the jobs created or saved so that their ridiculous statements can't be proved to be a lie. The proof is all the vacant houses that are boarded up all over the city that points to job losses.

Albatros officials say they looked in Schenectady County but were UNABLE TO FIND ANYTHING SUITABLE. Huh? In the whole County?

Albatros builds electrical equipment for railcars, and the Rotterdam Industrial Park has railroad tracks running through it.  I don't think the Rotterdam Industrial Park is at 100% capacity.  Maybe it is, I don't know.

I think this decision to move the Saratoga had little to do with finding something "suitable" but rather where they would be more profitable.

I'm sure that the stigmatism of Duane Ave is reason enough. I'm sure they have 'executives' that go to this location to seal deals. Duane Ave clearly is NOT the best place in schenectady county to invite executives to come and do business.

Let's face it...........Saratoga is supreme in comparison!!! Good move for them!!

Correction:    After Ms. Savage tosses  "Triple Dipper, Do-Nothing-But-Get-MY-Son-Patronage-Jobs" Farley from the State
Senate.
First, you folks claimed that Albatross was a big failure -didn't create any jobs -- now -- you say it is part of
"thousands" of jobs that left Schenectady in the last few years --- although you haven't  actually shown
any documentation that thousands of jobs left in the last few years.
The fact is the greatest LOSS of jobs in Schenectady Count was in the period from 1955 through 1995 ....
ALCO closing ... GE cutting back and closing lots of operations ..etc ..etc...    those were all years that the
GOP controlled the County Legislature and the economic development programs of the county.  the GOP
leadership put Schenectady County "on the ropes" -- we were seconds away from the referee calling the
fight over .. with us defeated.
Sue Savage and Ray Gillen have brought more than 3,500 new jobs to Schenectady County.  With leaders
like Ray Gillen and Sue Savage,  Schenectady is off the ropes,  starting to fight back,  and this time we
have the clear opportunity to win the fight.

Yeah, a bunch of low wage waitress, theater concession stand cashier, ticket takers, counter people.  And then taking existing jobs from one place to antoher.

Hey, dVOR, those high paid state employees.....is your Savage buddy so wonderful that those well paid employees are just moving to Schenectady in big numbers?????   Well?    AGain, look through their directory listing at the names of the heads of offices and then look up where those people live.

Oh, you don't have time for it you will say?   Cop out excuse for being too embarrassed to admit that your Savage buddy has all these jobs, all these people who wouldn't dream of living in Schenectady.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

People would be 'shocked' at homes that 'appear' to be lived in (with curtains at the window), but they are in fact VACANT!!! No furniture, no food, no people.......THEY JUST WALKED AWAY!!!! Susan Savage and the rest of the liberal socialists will never tell you about those!!!

3500 jobs??????? That is all bullcrap and smoke and mirrors!!!
Again......MVP, a relocation from the rotterdam industrial park......the golub freezer, a relocation from colonie......villa italia is another relocation right along with marcella's. They just brought the same employees with them from one place to another. Where is the NEW job creation? A Bow Tie cinema? The hot dog vender at the dss building?

And lets not forget that there are still TWO SHOOTERS, WITH GUNS, ON THE LOSE IN SCHENECTADY COUNTY!!!

The statistics how that they indeed grew jobs -- during the worst economic downturn in our nation since
the Great Depression ... and are growing the business with this new move -- so how could any reasonably
intelligent person call that anything but a success.

A success! Goebbels would be proud!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
