COLONIE -- A new poll finds New Yorkers generally satisified with home ownership, save for one major aggravation: High property taxes.
The vast majority of respondents -- 75 percent -- to the Siena Research Institute poll said their property taxes are too high, while just one percent described their property taxes as too low.
Siena surveyed more than 1,000 New Yorkers statewide for the poll sponsored by the New York State Association of Realtors. Results were released this afternoon.
