“Consider a long vacation,” the postcard states. “Be a man and back out now while you still can. Ticktock, you little [expletive].”

Then the following paragraph reads this:

Parisi is planning to wage a primary against incumbent George Amedore Jr., with the winner expected to square off against county Legislator Angelo Santabarbara, a former Republican running on the Democratic ticket. Rotterdam’s Republican Committee backed Parisi, while the county committee endorsed Amedore.

Mason selects certain lines from the postcard and then ties it into Gerard  "waging" a primary against Amedore.  You don't think that is slanted?  You don't think the Gazette should have waited for the police report?  This article was written in a way that readers would connect the postcard with George Amedore and County Republicans, without any evidence.  What does the endorsements of the County and Town Republican committee's have to do with the postcard? It's a complete hack job by Mason and the propagandists at the Gazette.

How does JM report an entire town board meeting when he isn't there for the whole thing?

Let them "orchestrate" all they want. We've heard that tune before. GA in a huge landslide.

George will destroy Gerard in the primary.  The Rotterdam Reps are trying to muddy George up for the general against Ang.

What will be funny, is IF Gerard wins (and it's a big if...) what excuses Amedore & his goombah buddies will make.

Parisi's problem is that outside of Rottendam, nobody knows who he is.  So when you primary as an unknown people will vote for the name they are familiar with . . . . . GA!

Peeps--if you really are a blank you are wasting your ability to have your voice heard and be part of the process.  Blanks are wusses.  First GA is thought of as a "joke" in the assembly.  He has NO gravitas.  Did you catch that senio citizen resource guide he sent out?  It was so ridiculous, I actually laughed out loud.  He is out of touch.  As for the gumbas--that also makes me laugh as do many of you.  Clearly most of you wouldn't know a REAL gumba even if you fell over one.  They don't make death threats on postcards or facebook for you younger more technologically savvy out there.  “Consider a long vacation,” the postcard states. “Be a man and back out now while you still can. Ticktock, you little [expletive].”  Ticktock??? that's all you got?  Who wrote the card Raucci?

GP may be a "little expletive" but this is nonsensical even for him.  GP needs some drama to bolster his campaign.  I believe Angelo will be the ultimate winner because he will send out cheese not postcards.

Not in my house is GP sending out anything on Seniors.  I believe it has something to do with elder law.  Not RSC.

People can only hope that GP doesn't muster up some drama for his campaign by playing the usual 'dirty politics' that rotterdam is so famous for. He tried that with the local election by campaigning his candidates by questioning FDG's intelligence/education. Perhaps true.... but it was apparently one major issue that sunk the rep ship in the last election.

GP needs to run a clean campaign, which I believe AS and GA will do and just campaign on the issues.

His bigger problem is that in the town they all know who he is. The  Committee is totally out of touch with the REP rank and file.

Peeps it was GA that sent out the Senior Citizen resource guide that is laughable.  This is the same Amedore who voted against seniors getting back their rental deposits in an expedient manner.  Oh I forgot he's in real estate.  GP has already disgraced himself.  He is a non-player in the upcoming election.  Angelo will win this.

How does Elder Law fit this situation?

I didn't see the piece.  I thought your post implyed it was GP and was somehow tied in with the Sr Center.  I know GP has a brochere that touts elder law as one of his specialties.  I think Ang will lose.  Unknown outside Rott., Duanes, Prince.  Tonko couldn't deliver Koisur and Blanchfield.  Why should Ang be any different?  Flip floppers  don't usually win.  Ask the Senator from Penn.
