rep committee

d. carp

Carp has been attending TB meetings more than usual lately and speaking at the podium.  Even saw him applauding the BI rezone.   What's up with that?  Could he be positioning himself for a run?   Hope the Reps have more sense than that!

J Salamone is WFP so it'd be a hell of a trick to make him a Republican Committeeman....

these two where cut from the same cloth and plucked from the mother wolfs teet like romulus and remus by the local gop

Salamone the real thing; no pawn of Republicans

Recent accusations that Joe Salamone’s Assembly campaign is a GOP-orchestrated conspiracy are untrue [July 17 Gazette]. As Joe’s brother, I view these attacks as a personal insult to not only our family, but to all members of the Working Families Party in the 105th Assembly District.
As a member of the Mohonasen Board of Education, Joe is uniquely qualified to tackle the current fiscal crisis facing the state. He sees firsthand the detrimental effect of high property taxes on working families and the elderly. However, he also understands the necessity of providing communities with well-funded schools. The idea that the Democratic political machine is attempting to torpedo this grass-roots effort to bring real discussion on the issues, rather than the usual political rhetoric, is upsetting.
The Democrats are accusing Joe of hijacking the party of which he has been a lifelong member. It’s no coincidence that these accusations are coming from highranking Democratic officials. The reality is that the Democratic Party is attempting to hijack the Working Families Party, and in the process give the voters fewer choices.
Rest assured, Joe will continue to fight for the concerns of working families throughout the 105th Assembly District.

You'll probably find the Gerard put his parents on the committee, law partners and friends that might be girls.  I wonder if AS's wife is one the committee and you should probably add Buchanan and Lynn Fiorillo.  I know that Tommasone used to fill the committee with no show family members, not sure if GP kept them around.

LS and Zorro are killing it today. Very funny stuff. Much better than the daily snoozes. Why does MB stay on this stunad committee? Didn't agree with her on environmentalism but she seemed intelligent.

doesn't the con party do the same thing? Who took lessons from who? Or is this a common practice with all of the corrupt parties........ the committees are padded just to sway the voters? Nice!!!!

And I agree with benny....these posts are killers today! Kinda like our very own 'discovery channel', huh? Pass the popcorn please!

Lay off the Gin Peter! Anyone that runs for office must be in it for some reason other than helping the people in your book. Maybe that's because that is all you and George are after and you think everyone else is like that.

spidey - what has GA gained from being in the assembly for that last three years?

state contracts? patronage jobs for his friends and family at the state? please enlighten us all

he has been exactly what this state needs - a conservative voice and vote.  Now if we could just put about 50 more amedores in the state assembly then maybe we could turn this state around

Does anyone here find it weird how much effort Kelly Rhinesmith puts into the Repubs campaign? She's gotta be trying to advance herself, right?

Does anyone here find it weird how much effort Lisa Dufek puts into the Dems campaign? She's gotta be trying to advance herself, right?

Why doesn't anyone ask why Peter Guidarelli seems to always be lurking around with Amedore, and apologizing for him, and making up for Amedore's inability to sound intelligent?  Yeah, his sister's husband's cousin is George's father (or something like that...)  But does he benefit? Does he get contracts, or business contacts, etc. because of it?  Can anyone shed any light on this...or is he just another Rhinesmith/Dufek?!

Peter, err Sally, what has George gotten? No idea. But I know something he wanted to get and expected to get by virtue of being an Assemblyman...the zone change that cost his family alot of money". Thank god (G-D for you Boomer) we had honest officials like Steve T who had the best interest of the public at heart to prevent it...

Don't bother, Publius...the same people who criticize "politics as usual" and "crooked politicians" will write off the fact that Tommasone did the right thing there....

TBV, you are right I don't know what got into me. This is similar to the discourse I had with Cato in 1789. It was worthless than and is more useless now...

Publius--no problem--since your god is in lower case, I suspect you might be referring to some minor god--like sun, moon or stars or rain....But yes I would suspect your God is my God--

Why question KR?  She leans right--often right of Atilla the Hun but right just the same.  She is politically astute--I can't imagine she would work on a Dem campaign unless the Dem was very Conservative similar to Paolino.  I think this is a question designed to smoke out feelings about Peter.
