I think the Eunice Esposito Park is a different matter.   Mrs Esposito did not seek to get the park named for her.  The resolution was brought up by the majority of the Town Board without her knowledge and done to honor her for her years of public service.

For the record, I am working to get a new park built in Rotterdam .. and I am not planning on having it named after me.  If they want to name the rest room pavilion after me .. ok

Oh Ron you poor bastard.  That park was named after her to get her OUT of office back then.
It didn't work, so I say give the park another name. Screw Eunice.

Another park that the town has to maintain.  Might as well make as many parks as the town has
apartment buildings.

Ya wanna see parks? Real parks? Take a drive to Saratoga or Guilderland! Their parks are pristine!! AND...taxes are cheaper in Saratoga than rotterdam's and are now rotterdam's is comparable with Guilderland. The majority of Guilderland's taxes are school taxes.

Wanna see a senior center? A real senior center? Take a drive to Glenville and take a look at that one and see what it offers the senior!!!

Honestly folks....what is the big hub bub about any political party fighting to be in control of rotterdam??? Who gives a crap....it's a sh!thole.

Get out of rotterdam you rotterdaminas.............the waters warm!

The Parks and Recreation Commission is proposing a REAL general-use town park by expanding
the existing Woestina Park and utilizing the "Bonded Concrete"-site (land that the town already o
owns and has not utilized)    AND we  are proposing a REAL   Community Center to house not only Senior and Youth programs .. but something that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Our plan is to do this over the next 10 years -- by the time of our town's Bicentenniel -- and do it
by donations and grants -- with as little impact on the taxpayer as possible,
If the Challengers could rebuild the ball fields, club house, and parking area at Woestina at NO
COST to the taxpayers   (except for 3 or 4 blue garbage containers)  than I think we can use this
model to build a general-use Town Park and a multi-generational Community Center.

Hmm, really Ron? That's funny coming from you.  What happened
to your appointment? It's off the agenda for tomorrow.  Did your puppetmasters
find out they couldn't appoint you.....

Ron I see you criticizing Lynn Fiorillo's personality yet you sit here and call rotterdam residents petty excuses for a human being... I Don't think you belong anywhere near town hall. Lynn has never talked like you do about people. You, sir, are a political hack and should be ashamed of yourself. You talk about what a great lady Eunice is, I'm not sure I agree with your assessment. But I can say one thing: you are NOT replicating the demeanor you so often claim she had. Stay the hell out of the clerk's office!

The public knows the facts -   Mrs. Esposito sent a letter to Town Hall appointing me as her
First Deputy Clerk when the current First Deputy Clerk steps down to take another post within
the town government.  That is all that can be said publicly about what is - at the moment - a
personnel matter.

The public knows?  Where was it published?  Anyone here ever see that letter before?

I never heard this...Does Ms. Golden want to leave the Clerk's Office? Is she being forced out? Is your appointment contingent on Golden taking a job in Town? What job is she going to be offered? Will someone be leaving? Will this be another position created? Is this dependent on the retirement incentive shenanigans? What happened to the hiring freeze? Is this being done to get Golden out of the clerk's office? Because she wants out of the clerk's office? To just give you a job? Why not give you another job in town government and leave her in the clerk's office? She seems to be doing a good job why remove her? I'd say we all have more questions than answers.

You say the public knows the facts Ron...I'd say we are as clueless as we could possibly be. So why don't you cut the BS and tell us the truth!? See here's the funny part...in the other thread you criticized republicans because they "can't tell the truth" yet you won't tell us anything! You are no better than the BS strawman republican you create for the purpose of criticism!!!!!!
