WOW.....I never thought of the 4 day week thing. But they have to follow the union's contract, right? Well, at least we know that all of the elected officials only have to show up at work ONE day a year. Anything more than that is a BONUS! That is comforting to know and getting your monies worth, huh?

sure is lets just hope there terms are short lived in various discussions with town staff i feel some are held back by the appointed few and the power hungry Mgt
this is why this town stands still
Talking to each other is better than talking about each other
Another bonehead memo from this merry band of idiots. Problem is the union contract basically states that union business can be conducted by union officials with the dept. heads ok. I do think that some of these folks really can't read. They just throw $hit at the wall and see what sticks. But this is how this bunch deals with everything whether employees or town matters. Again no clue, no plan, and no vision. It has become apparent that their sole goal is to take care of who they have too and the hell with the rest of us. Run the town like a business my a$$!

I think I may have said this awhile back. Vote 'em out!
the town board is completing a budget before they have a new union contract
so it will be a year on no raises and the contract will go to an arbitrator and the next admin left to foot the bill
school board tactic but with no school children to sacrifice - just working town citizens
the Budget Leader should get his CMOS Chip checked - it is a bit out of focus
he must be kelping his department heads "Zoom In" how much $$$$ they are asking for
sorry tips, but I really have a hard time following your dialog! Please speak engrish!

the development of a budget prior to a final CSEA union contract is a bit difficult
will the proposed 2011 budget have a 0% increase in wages reflecting no new CSEA union contract
or will the proposed 2011 budget have a 4% increase in wages reflecting the current CSEA budget
the 4% increase in 2011 would protect future boards(2 years out) from drastic levy increases
the 0% answer would make the current board look like hero's today for a levy decrease in 2011 but push the levy increase to 2012 or 13
If REMS passes that frees a 1/4 million or so which would cover a 4% increase of the total town budget minus public safety
In the big picture $500-600 a year for my town services is very fair, my road is plowed, my twigs are picked up, my leaves are picked, up my house is functionally safe, water generally flows thru my shower
i would like to see reinforcement to our towns infrastructure via maintenance not repair
I would like to see fewer appointed positions and more trust put in those who have shown they are proficient of the position they have attained
what i get from my school district fee i find odd - why do we have two school districts? i don't understand
i would say if you find your town tax to high bring forth a petition to dissolve the town and become part of the county
