I don't think the reps will be hard pressed to find supporters in the next town board election. The rep party is the only place the residents can look to, to bring some sanity back to this TB madness. The fresh/no retread route is great, but the question is......can FS compete and beat a retired rotterdam cop? Some folks don't think so.
And when was the last time anyone saw this Calder speaking at a town board meeting? It really doesn't matter if they do or not. IMHO

'I' questioned if that should be a prerequisite for a qualification for running for office. 'I' didn't think someone speaking at town board meetings was a qualification.

From a supervisor that states for the record....'he doesn't have a hair, you know where'....down to a town board member(ND) that reams a resident out at a town board meeting! And to another town board member(BG) that uses arrogance to cover up his cluelessness. A secretary with a $10K stipend. The supervisor's business partner gets a $5K stipend. Couple that with a town clerk that has defiled the office of town clerk with dishonesty and fraud and I think we can all agree that this present town board is beyond inadequete at best. This present administration couldn't shine the last administration's shoes!!!!! Or any previous one for that matter.....even constantino's!
And ya see, people like peeps have not recourse but to attack those who are not in agreement with this present administration. Because people like peeps are just as befuddled and embarrassed as the rest of us. I'm relatively new to this blog site, but just in reading the posts to get aquainted with all of you it seems like there is a lot of finger pointing & not much talk of how things can improve. I'm not a politician, but it certainly can't get any worse than it is now (unless WC wins the next seat - then it will be a complete shut out with no checks & balances). Peepers, it seems like you have a lot of negativity toward the last board, and are very defensive of this one. Are you that partisan that you can't call a spade a spade? C'mon even you can see what a group of bumbling boobs this TB is. Oh, btw, thank them for the lovely little law suit that they brought on from the Sync thing. We (even you) will be paying for it!!

Hi cookie....first YES IT CAN get worse than it is right now!! It's only been four short months and look at the mess. From illiteracy, to nepotism, to anger issues, to arrogance, to a town clerk who can't notarize because of fraud, to stipends that are costing the taxpayers, to law suits on the horizon, to spot zoning all over town, to calling out a private citizen at a public meeting....and the list goes on. YES IT CAN AND WILL GET WORSE!!
Whether we agree or not on who the reps endorse, we apparently have no choice but to back and support him/her! The conservatives need representation and you are correct.....there needs to be checks and balances desperately. If not, we will continue to have even MORE of the mental attitude displayed by peeps!
