How many committee people were physically present? How many were proxies? Were ALL of the committee members informed of this vote BEFORE they handed over their proxies?

Not that it really matters, but I believe there were more people present than proxies cast...

Maybe this clown show is by design?  If you create enough apathy among committee people, and discourage enrollment, you can control the party without resistance.

Ha! You are as much a clown as the rest of them.  This board is a clown show by design.  You have MT calling for a public vote on Buchanan, KR hopping from one political bedroom to another, (cheap thrills I guess), Carolina Lazzari flip flopping all over the place with the war in Iraq, her barn and Koisur's law, Gerard Parisi can't handle the fact he called Franny stupid, ran down Eunice lost the whole craplot and now wants to "punish" Amedore over a foolish picture.  Jim Longo, the high school political rocket scientist as Town Chairman.

Embarassment at the expense of the people's needs.  And Steve  wants to run again???  One can only hope!  Six time losers never learn they just sell out a little more of their soul until nothing is left.  Sad, sad, sad.

Par for the course in Rotterdam wouldn't ya say peeps.  You forgot to mention the incompetent ex-town assessor that screwed up town assessments and the very unpopular senior center appointee.  I hear she's flat out scaring some of the seniors.

Calling FDG stupid isn't too far from the truth.  You don't have to be too insightful to figure that out.

I'm still not understanding this. EOE BREAKS THE LAW and that is ok. GFP, FOLLOWS THE LAW and reports it for investigation and that is wrong??????????????? You people have no sense of reality.

Hey BS (lol how appropriate is that)

Let me help you out, GFP has no credibility, that's why nobody cares what he says and questions everything he does.  Actually, probably much less of the second because nobody cares what he does.

You guys just don't get it, the people said NO to this GOP bunch, INCLUDING MERTZ, so you guys need to move on and let Buchanan rebuild the party the GFP destroyed.

You guys need to find a new argument. Attempt to discredit anyone with whom you disagree just makes you look foolish. Parisi is a respected capable attorney and the public sees him as the only voice of reason on the board. He did his job. If you have a problem with that, the problem is you not Mr. Parisi.

You must be referring to the GREAT Republican appointments; John MacIsaac and John DeGeorgio.  Sorry for the oversight!  HaHaHaHaHa

Are you hailing Gerard for calling FDG stupid?  Oh yes Let me remember Ms Lazzari used to call Signore stupid all the time.  Couldn't beat him though in that primary and neither will GP beat GA.  Same old tricks but new dogs.

Let me re-phrase:  he implied he was stupid by inferring he was illiterate and unable to comprehend the written word.  K? Jewels??

The only thing that matters in my opinion is the answer to one question.

everything else is just bickering and political BS which happens on both sides of the fence and in every family

He was the chair, ceo, coach, counselor, captain for what 2-3 years.

So, Under GP did the Rotterdam Reps better themselves?

Simple question yes or no answer

take all anger and emotion out and just answer that question to yourself........

I wouldn't call it hailing, but you can't ignore the accuracy of the statement.  Have you been to a recent town board meeting?  The neanderthal like mouth breathing is a dead give-away.  I think he may be reading the agenda items off of a stone tablet.

I must admit that GP is probably the only sense of reason on rotterdam's town board. But with this merry band of idiots, anyone would be. Like I stated before.....GP comes with a history of the who, what and whens in Rotterdam. He was the town attorney for God's sake. And I think the attorney for just about every committee in town including REMS. So GP definitely has the playing field advantage with this present bunch. But again.....so would any other reasonable, intelligent human being.

Although I question his motives, exposing EE's criminal behavior and using KR to do it, it was a brilliant move and possibly placed a political feather in his cap. Also, feeding FS information to use as ammunition was also a brilliant political move. Both for FS and GP himself.

HOWEVER.......this last ploy regarding a run for the assembly against one of his own, is mind boggling and leaves one to question motives. Couple that with this botched rep committee vote only diminishes GP's credibility. IMHO

I'll say it again.....I would suggest that GA stay clear of rotterdam politics.....it is toxic!!

And hey.....I'll take the honor of being mertzie today....k?

a big fat NOOOOOOO littleman.  Lost everything and humiliated the electorate by forcing out MDV and appointed himself.  Lost the county dist 4 seats, lost the town council, lost to scott murphy, lost his CYO games by an avg.of 15 points, lost his marriage, his GF, lost McNulty's digs. lost some hair, lost his morals and finally lost his mind.  Hotel California for GP!
