Amedore is an affront to the everyday working stiff.  He IS sexist.  His particular brand of Christianity keeps women in the kitchen.  But as i have said before, a woman's place IS in the House and the Senate and in this case the NYS Assembly.  He's done NOTHING since he has been in office.  He can barely get out an inteligible sentence.  He needs to go.

that's his CHRISTIAN wife's problem.......is anyone here married to him......I have said stuff like that frequently and have had stuff said like that to me.....over it move on...

I guess we may as well bring back all the race jokes. They are perfectly fine. They are just jokes, nothing serious...

You are the same person that champions for the religion that fashions burka's for mohammed's sake.  And you talk about Christian sexism.

Do you even believe what you say?  Do you have any principles?

BTW - those are rhetorical questions.

George Amedore will continue to shock some of yous when the Primary and General Election results roll in. Did you hear about his third line? Nobody cares about these nonsense issues.

He made a bad joke that some partisans tried to make into political hay. Good luck with that. Two more cake walks for GA.

105TH ASSEMBLY DISTRICT
Assembly petitions draw fraud allegation
Amedore fights Santabarbara’s third-line effort

BY MICHAEL LAMENDOLA Gazette Reporter
Reach Gazette reporter Michael Lamendola at 395-3114 or lamend@dailygazette.com. Gazette reporter Justin Mason contributed to this report.

Republican Assemblyman George Amedore is accusing his Democratic challenger of breaking the law in an attempt to establish an independent party line for November’s general election.
Amedore of Rotterdam, who is seeking his second two-year term in the 105th Assembly District, fi led a lawsuit in state Supreme Court in Albany against Angelo Santabarbara’s attempt to establish an independent party called “Change Albany Now.”
Amedore’s suit alleges Santabarbara violated state Election Law in obtaining signatures for the independent party and that the entire petition should be thrown out.
“There are already known lawbreakers under indictment or whatever they want to be. We do not need any other person going to Albany who will bend, break or skirt around the election laws to get there,” Amedore said. “We do not need anymore lawbreakers in Albany. There are enough of them already.”
Santabarbara, a Schenectady County legislator representing Rotterdam, Duanesburg and Princetown, denied any wrongdoing. “I am not a lawbreaker. I have done nothing wrong in exercising my right to go out to collect signatures and create this line,” he said. “I just worked hard, went out to do what needed to be done and formed this independent line.”
Amedore challenged 951 of Santabarbara’s signatures with the state Board of Elections, leaving 1,558 unchallenged. The minimum is 1,500 valid signatures, said John Conklin of the elections board.
In his challenge, Amedore claims some of the signatures obtained by Santabarbara are from people who live well beyond the boundaries of the 105th District, including area cities as Troy in Rensselear County and Mechanicville in Saratoga County.
In some cases, he alleges, the address of a petition signer was changed to make it appear as though the signature came from an area within the assembly district.
After Santabarbara ended up with enough valid signatures, Amedore filed a lawsuit in state Supreme Court. Conklin said that Amedore, by filing a complaint in court alleging fraud, may be able to convince a judge to throw out Santabarbara’s entire petition. ..................>>>>..................>>>>...................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01001&AppName=1

Does fraud run in the Santabarabra family? Jennifer Santabarbara's name (Angelo's wife) recently surfaced in the middle of a forgery
investigation too.

Parisi also filed a general objection to Santabarbara’s third party petition with the state Board of Elections, and he later fi led specific objections. But the specifi c objections were filed beyond the deadline for the board to consider, Conklin said.
