This smack on Longo is a perfect example of how Democrat-liberals are never happy with 99% of a loaf. They want the whole loaf, your neighbor's loaf, loaves from everyone on the street, the crumbs in the bottom of the bag the loaves came in, and they want the next loaf to have the following warning imprinted on the label "EVERY STALE LOAF IS DUE TO PREVIOUS REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATIONS AND WE CANNOT GUARANTEE FRESH LOAVES UNTIL YOU VOTE OUT EVERY LAST REPUBLICAN ON THE FACE OF PLANET EARTH"

Like the government they espouse, their hunger is all consuming, it wants to be FED. It demands NO DISSENT. There shall not be ONE MEMBER OF ANY OPPOSITE PARTY REMAINING -NO MATTER WHAT. That should be the credo of the Democrat party. The one that sold out America faster and more furious than any organization in our 235 year history. As bad as the republicans can be. As often as they don't live up to all their principals, as much as they have that country club element, it is consistently the democrat party which doesn't even TRY to hide that it wants, and will settle for nothing less than complete and utter control over every level of governmntt from dog catcher (or in this case Highway Superintendent) to the White House. And- if there is one Republican left anywhere, they must be exterminated in a cloak of lies, deceit, feigned outrage and rumor mongering (THE WORST OUR ROADS HAVE EVER BEEN BLAH BLAH BLAH!)

That is just one of many reasons why I will never ever again cross over and vote for Democrat, never, ever, ever, ever, ever. I would rather vote for a monkey or a clown in full wig, makeup and clown regalia than pull the lever for another socialist-supporting group of power hungry maniacs who will stop at nothing to win even something as insignificant as that, just to cement their insane dictatorial power grab that will end up being the end of our republic as we knew it.

There are a lot of people who voted for the Dems in 2008 that will never vote for another Dem again and I'm one of them.

It was enough to close my place of employment for the first time in two years.  Yeah snow day!  But..
what happened was the Reps called god and asked him to localize a ton of snow in a short window.  Or... If your a dem.. the Reps called (insert whatever you believe in) and asked he/she/it to localize a ton of snow in a short window, with proper breaks for rest and lunch.

I don't spell check!  Sorry...

At points during the storm it snowed at a rate of 2 in. per hour. That is alot of snow! In total we had 15 in. My street is black today. Can't imagine any better work by any other highway dept. My friend's brother lives in Schenectady and goes to dialysis. On Weds. morning his street was not plowed once. Anyway he called the city and explained that he could not get out for treatment because his street had not been plowed yet. He was told to call for an ambulance. If he could not get down his own street how in the hell could an ambulance. We don't know how good we have here in town.

"Scorch the earth and burn everyone to cinders that gets in the way: WE MUST HAVE THAT LAST ELECTIVE OFFICE IN THE TOWN AT ALL COSTS!" comes the order from the snarky, snakey, sweaty-palmed Democrat attorneys running the county Demoncat office. "Make the world safe for public employee unions, trial lawyers, criminals, deadbeats, welfare cheats, America-haters, and the ACLU! One Republican in office running the plows and trucks HAS TO BE rooted out, even if we have to make people mad at him because it snowed. Start the whispering campaign. Get the seminar bloggers to write in, have the patronage hacks write letters & send the letters to the Gazette and our pals there will put them first, GET HIM NOW!!!!"

You are going off on an extravegant tangent about DEMS/REPUBS and how each acts.  All of this based of of some off the wall remarks by a well known looney in your mists.

Peepers do you talk to everyone like you write on here?  I hope not.  I sure wouldn't want anyone in charge of my family members who was that seemingly hateful.  Now if you are just frustrated with others on this board or your lot in life maybe you should just take a step back and ask yourself if you are going to want to be treated or talked to that way.

GB - I see you haven't stopped taking things over the cliff.  The Sky is falling!! The Sky is falling!!  OMG!! Rotterdam is doomed!!  Doomed I say!!!

Politics in Rotterdam are no different than anywhere else.  You just hope the elected official has the people in mind when making decisions more often then not.  If you think Rotterdam is especially messed up you think too highly of your politicians(in the bad way)

If you are going to organize some kind of ralley that is a great show of the peoples voice.  You just have to ask yourself what percentage of the people think the way you do.

I general would you call Rotterdam DEM / REPUB or OTHER?

I know from my perspective this board is mostly REPUB minded in the traditional sense.  Or is it just because there is a mostly DEM TB and when there was a mostly REPUB TB all the same gripes were happening?

I have been living in town just about my entire life, except for a short time when I moved to the hills of Delanson.  I grew up in Antonia Hills, moved to Delanson, then moved back and have lived on Princetown Road for a bit over 10 years now.  This is the first time that Princetown Road was a mess in the morning.  They have ALWAYS kept up on this in the past.  It was a first priority in case of the necessity of the police or the ambulance to respond to a call.  We used to have the plows coming by at all hours, which you don't even notice after a while, just like the ambulance and police.  Instead, I wake up and pull out of my driveway and it's like I'm driving on some side street that was forgotten.

Thank you Mr March.  I know a payback when I see it, feel it, live it.  What Mr Longo did was a sin.  I know of an ambulance that got stuck in the snow.  So much for Public Service.  And you all the audacity to slam Eunice for helping a resident.  Shame on all of you!  TBV Bite me!

I must have a magic car, because every road I drove on was absolutely fine.  Mr. del Gallo said the same during last night's town meeting, Peeper.  Is he a liar?

Better idea.  Join us for the rally to ask for Craig Surprise's resignation for "setting" up Eunice by sending that particular resident to her, knowing full well that she was confused and an easy target.  The bullcrap that is going on in TH has its roots where the demise of the Republican regime first started--the Rotterdam Assessor Craig Surprise' office.  Stick that in your NNTP spin cycle BT. K

If she's confused and an easy target, she shouldn't be working where she does..

I did, but at the time of the public priveledge of the floor.  I stated at the beginning that I would expect an answer in the near future to appear in my mailbox.

I do want to say that I did appreciate the response that Ms. DiLeva gave after I was done speaking last night regarding trying to get answers, but I guess per the gentleman sitting to her left (the town attorney), she was not allowed to speak while I was still at the podium.  Instead, I would now need to remember everything that was stated this Wednesday and wait until the priveledge of the floor at the next town board meeting to give my response.  Something that would have never happened at any other town board meeting I have ever been to... you even get a response at the County Legislature, but not at the town level this year.

The answer I got was as far as why they would not reply when anyone was at the podium, not as far as the issue with the road.

TBV, it's all in the timing.  I was going to work at an early hour that my road wasn't plowed.  Many others were, but there were also 2 tandem FedEx trucks that were stuck trying to get onto the Thruway over at 25.

Mr. DelGallo seems to be working long hours for a part time Supervisor.  It must be nice to run your own company in town and be able to take the winter off.  Last night he stated that he is usually in his office 6 AM to 6 PM each day and anyone who wants to ask questions can call or are encouraged to stop in to talk.  I thanked him for being open about this, then advised that it would not be possible with my work schedule.  He advised that I could take time off to come in and talk with him and I advised that I couldn't, as I need to earn as much as possible to pay my town and county taxes (yes, I called them county taxes...I forgot that they're not, they're state and federal mandates).
