eBay ad leads to tire theft arrest

GLENVILLE -- A Schenectady man was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $10,000 worth of tires and rims and attempting to sell them on the Internet through eBay, town police said Sunday.


Edward Hughes, 31, of 2506 Turner Ave., was charged with third-degree larceny for allegedly taking eight wheels from two new Subarus at Capitaland Motors on Route 50, police said.
