One of the promises Frank DelGallo made to voters while campaigning was that he would run the town like a business in order to put an end to mismanagement. This garnered much support based on his success running his own business. In only 5 days, the current administration has broken this promise. What executive, after being hired, fires employees based solely on their ties to the former executive? This is not the way to run a business...

You are dead right Black Spidey!!! FDG also promised transparency yet the administration won't tell us who they fired, and will not tell us how they determined who to fire! Is this the transparency they promised?

What??  These are town documents - why weren't they provided with full documentation, to the new administration?  They were paid for by taxpayers ... is there something I'm missing here?

as with all contracted services unless there is a contractual clause stating ownership it belongs to the party completing the work

ie your medical record belongs to your doctor not you - you may request a copy of the work be sent to a new doctor but you cannot have the original

not supporting either party but our Town leaders need to get smart and have an ownership clause in all service contracts

Party refers to dem, rep, con ,ind ....

the "party" you're speaking of would be the taxpayers, wouldn't it?

Recommending an ownership clause is supporting the taxpayers.
not having one supports "partisan politics" and does the taxpayers as a whole no good

I hear there might have been an ethics complaint filed against the new board. Something about an illegal hiring or firing? Anyone know anything about this, or if it's even true?

Everyone is a first time poster once, right? Oh that's right...the forum would be better if only the people who are currently here contributed, and no one else.

Come on, guys! Lighten up!

Nothing new here. Whenever there is a changing of the guard, the old go out and the new come in. Ethical?
