Quoted from Shadow
From what the people who study politics claim the Reps as well as the Dems had better pay close attention to the demands of the people or Nov 2 of 2010 could spell the end of their political careers.

The political careers of ALL incumbents need to come to an end at the next election cycle. Vote them all out!!! Reps and dems and anything in between!!!!

I agree with your predictions....except the cat/hair ball thing since cats are too unpredictable.
And the rain prediction....weathermen are too over rated. It's the only job where you can be wrong every single day, blame it on the dopler and still keep your job!

nah........ baseball
millions for 0.300  or less

historical rise is school tax!!!!

very very long economic recovery, those  55 and up will pay the greatest penalty in their retirement
this will have a great impact on the town

nothing positive will be done on the assessment process and the state will mandate a reassessment in 10-15 years - and the rest of the town will begin to look like capitol plaza -

the only thing that will clean up the town is a continuous assessment "process" not based on resale and building permits or personal

Time to take stock of the 2010 predictions made by many on this forum.

Quoted Text
Quoted from FactOrFiction:
I predict heavy snowfall in mid to late February, but a warm March with an early spring.

Quoted Text
Quoted from Brad Littlefield:
I predict that Obama's approval rating will reach the low to mid 30% range by the end of 2010.  Many in
his own party will attempt to distance themselves from his policies and question his leadership after
major losses in the number of Democrat seats held  in the House of Representatives and in the Senate
in the November elections.

Obama's approval rates continue to decline.  Some in his own party have (already) begun to question his
leadership and abilities.

Quoted Text
Quoted from Brad Littlefield:
I predict that Patrick Ziegler, an enrolled Republican and Tea Party participant and supporter, will enter the race for the
NY State 20th Congressional District seat against Democrat Scott Murphy.  If Mr. Ziegler secures the Republican endorsement,
I predict that he will win the election in November.

on another AM station by early summer.

Nah....I doubt that one!  Saratoga/clifton park has a larger population of educated, intelligent people than schenectady county does.

Most people actually work in saratoga county. I'd bet that their welfare give-a-way line isn't as long as Schenectady's. They don't have a metrofraud. They don't have Ely as their school superintendent. They don't have a need for all of the tax sucking non profits. They don't have 'carnival bob'. They don't have a corrupt police force. They don't have the crime rate! THOSE are the people that get pissed off by ANYONE who brings these issue into the light of day.

In reviewing these predictions, it appears that, thus far, some have held true, and some seem unlikely.  I few look to be close.  And
a few have been disproven.

Any predictions for the second half of 2010?
