The gazette is reporting that Schenectady’s Ener-G-Rotors, which makes generating systems that turn low-temperature heat into electricity, will get $200,00 of state funding to expand marketing and outreach along with preparing to fund-raise and establish a manufacturing facility. Ener-G-Rotors is assessing what its current needs are for a plant. “We’re not really looking for space yet,” said Michael Newell, president and CEO. “All of that will come together at a later time ... We will try to stay in Schenectady.”
Saratoga Springs-based Taconic Energy, and albany's AWS TrueWind will each get $200,000 too.
This is just part of the story that was on the gazette's on line site. |
