I had heard that the "people's voice message board" appears to have fallen by the wayside like the Rotterdam Republican Party and the No New Tax Party. I found the site to be somewhat of a "take it with a grain of salt' hyperoble and the anonymous nature of the many posters lacked any real credibility. I am told that there are a few lawyers who post regularly and have to chuckle at that hypocrisy. Farewell to "the people's voice." Looks like the Rotterdam Republicans ruined another good thing. |

Let's hope so. Just because elections are over, doesn't mean there's nothing interesting to talk about.
What's Admin's view on this? Is it speculation? Are you going to throw in the towel? Please don't! |

Exactly! And there really are issues outside of rotterdam. |

How ironic... Taking to task the anonymous nature of the members and credibility of the information on the forum, by posting something you "heard" under an alias. |

Even the Administator admitted the "board slowed down" Why so bitter Cicero? Had you a vested interest in the Election outcome? Perhaps??? I verified what the rumor's suggested; that the board is dying a slow death. IMHO I'd rather watch the Public Access for my Town Politics and Inside Rotterdam news. I hear the "new" regime may be offering live meetings, better viewing times and more reruns of town meetings. Another missed opportunity by the Rotterdam Republicans to exhibit "transperency" in government. Have you heard the other rumors on a bombshell investigation dealing with members of the soon to be previous administration? JUICYFRUIT! MMMMMM |

More re-runs of the Town Bored meetings? lol- That should be a SAD-SACC rating boom. Grab your No-Doze. Yes, we all saw the "rumors" that Sal posted months ago. Everyone from the FBI on down will be pouring over all town records. Audit! Audit! |

I'm not bitter. I just like pointing out the irony. I believe EVERY Rotterdam resident has a vested interest in the outcome of EVERY election. Don't you think it's curel to run reruns of Town Board Meetings? You know, with the speech impediment of the incoming Supervisor and all. I'm not too PC to admit that I'll be getting endless laughs out of it. |
