No bidders for former OCFS site SCHENECTADY — The state received no bidders for the property at 150 North Brandywine Ave. that was once home to the Offi ce of Children and Family Services. Office of General Services spokesman Brad Maione said the state will re-evaluate its options before it decides its next step. An Albany property at 79 Ryckman Ave. sold for $155,000. Sarena Aurora of Saranac Lake was the high bidder, according to Maione. Once Commissioner John Egan accepts the bid, she has 120 days to close. The biggest item up for bid Tuesday was supposed to have been the Schenectady Armory at 125 Washington Ave. The auction was canceled just days before it was scheduled to be held. State officials said at the time that Egan needed time to review alternative options that have come forward for disposing of the property, without elaborating.
