And so it is with our new eugenics. We don't geld men and women any more, like we did back in the thirties to poor people in Appalachia, so they wouldn't bring any more "white trash" or n---gers into the world, and we don't spay the mentally handicapped anymore either.
No, we wait until they get pregnant and then we tell them we are going to take their baby away as soon as it is born. At least that is what they are doing in the UKKK UK. In the UK, social services employees, equivalent to our child protective services investigators, not only told Kerry Robertson they were going to take her baby as soon as it was born, they refused to let her get married.
According to the Telegraph, Robertson and her fiance, Mark McDougal, 25, had to cancel wedding plans 48 hours before they were to be married because social workers said that Robertson, who has mild learning disabilities, "did not understand the implications of getting married."
When asked about marriage, Robertson said, “I know what marriage is. It is when two folks want to spend the rest of their lives together. I love Mark and I want to get married to him.” I wonder how many of the social workers are unwed mothers, or divorced or understand marriage as well as Kerry does.
Social Services has refused to allow McDougal to take custody of the child himself, or allow Kerry's grandmother to bring up the child.
It makes me ashamed that my family came from the British Isles. It almost makes we wish my g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g grandfather, de Beville, had stayed in Normandy rather than invade Great Britain with William in 1066. Listen up mother country.
You make barefoot, ringwormed, knock-kneed 18-year-old, third graders in Appalachia, or here in my poverty stricken corner of upstate New York, look like positive geniuses with this decision.
Listen up mother country. Let me tell you about my friend Albert, now deceased. Albert was what we call mentally handicapped now, but when we were children everyone called him retard. They also called him tick-tock because his head swayed back and forth and their was nothing he could do about it.
His real father threw him down the cellar stairs. His stepfather was a high school principal who seemed to barely tolerate him, but I loved that boy. Even though I was in the top group and he was in the bottom group in school, we were close friends.
He barely made it through high school and he washed out of the army. But he got married, had children and was a good father. He worked menial jobs but provided for his family.
What in 'ell more do you want? I have seen wealthy parents and intellectual parents treat their kids like dirt and then wonder why their children spend years in therapy. I have seen well educated parents yell at their children because they missed a catch in a baseball game or let the ball get through to the net in soccer. And I have seen college professors give birth to mentally handicapped children, and I have seen the mentally handicapped give birth to kids who were bright.
So who are you to play God? First, you tell kids that it is okay to have sex, just use a condom. You teach them how to put on a condom with a banana. Yet if you give that same banana to a monkey, supposedly down a few rungs on the evolutionary scale, he knows what its real purpose is. He's not stupid. He eats it.
Then when the kids have sex without using birth control, (maybe thinking that because they don't have a banana with them that the condom is useless), you want to take their babies away. And when they want to do the right thing and get married, you won't let them get married. Meanwhile the country wrings its hands about all those teenage immigrant welfare mothers on drugs.
Uncle Adolf would be so proud of you. Why pay Dr. Mengele to perform orchiectomies? Just wait for the baby to be born and take it away.
It's the new kinder, safer eugenics. But you know what me really thinks? Methinks someone wants a baby! I mean who in the mother country wants to adopt a black child, and who wants to wait years and pay thousands of dollars, excuse me pounds, excuse me again euros, for a lily white baby? No sir, not when Kerry Robertson has one in the oven for the taking.
It's an outrage! I am so stunned by this I had to check to see if it was a real story and indeed it is. It is frightening. I don't know what to say. Nobody has the right to do that to those kids. I am speechless...for once.
When I was first reading this, my heart was breaking. By the time I was done reading it, I was pissed! I agree with you Cal, it leaves one speechless with disbelief.
This story is so sickening that it makes you wonder how they treat people with other illnesses like HIV. Although I do social work, I am not a trained (college) social worker. When I get to my office tomorrow, I will raise this issue at our staff meeting. Got lots of Ph.D's there in social work. Though I will admit somtimes their radar is off when dealing with some issues. My office also does supervised visitation in Albany and Rensselaer counties. You would be amazed at some of the parents who walk through our doors. But one or the other has custody of the kids. Perhaps there is a perspective that can shed some light on this most despicable situation. (is there a part of this story we don't know--is the future mother a known axe-murderer--what else is there to this story.) Otherwise it is totally unbelievable and unconscionable.
