If you include "No offense" in a statement, chances are, your statement is offensive.

His performance won Game 6 - and clinched the MVP trophy.

Yankee -Hideki Matsui became the first Japanese-born player to win the MVP  award that started in 1955. He homered, doubled and singled, highlighting a Series in which he hit .615 with three home runs and eight RBIs- He got a call from the Japanese Prime Minister " Nice job dude "  ( in Japanese of course )

Yanks have baseball’s winning formula down

Re: The Nov. 7 letter complaining about the Yankees hiring the best players they could in order to win the World Series. The goal of Major League Baseball is to win the World Series. It takes good players to win the World Series. When a team wins, it increases its fan base and therefore its attendance and viewership. This increases revenue, thus allowing the paying of high salaries, which leads to future winning teams.
This response is already too long. Let me just respond in true New York style: yadda, yadda, yadda.
