Release them to Fr. Peter Young.  His three prong approach could help these girls.  .

Ummmmm, The working girls in Schenectady might respond to that with a higher rate, say $15.00, rather than $5.00. I am not sure the term "three prong approach" is the best one to use, given the tongue-in-cheek nature of some of the posters...

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Hey Pat, don't hold back anything now. Tell us how you really feel.

And I agree with you Pat 100%! Some people choose to tell their story and others don't. But everyone has one, I can assure you.
Everyone has their own story of woe. Everyone. But not everyone ends up a prostitute, drug addict, drug dealer, rapist or murderer. It boils down to the choices we make and live with.

What's wrong with society is the tunnel-vision with which you neo-cons suffer.  Not everyone can afford to display the righteous indignation that comes so easily to you.  You think incarceration corrects this situation?  Yes lots of these women have aids which they have gotten from needles or men.  Yeah let's put them in jail so we can protect the poor innocent men who might patronize them.

BT sub culture???  The poor and disinfranchised are not "sub" anything.  The Counter Culture was created for people like you so that you're world might get a little bigger--

Please define neo-cons!!

The sad part is the verbage society uses....

"Boys will be boys"
"they had a poor upbringing"
"oldest profession in the world"
"adults can do what they want"
"Paris Hilton made one"
"Kardashian's made one"

blah blah blah blah........

the worst form of 'prostitution'?----can anyone guess?------------Jon and Kate plus Eight........

Sal right on the money as usual.  These girls need help not jail.  PatZ why cast aspersions on somebody like Fr. Young who does the work that many folks would not choose to do.   I am shocked that you would make such a critical remark.  Apparently you know NOTHING a bout Fr. Young and his work and certainly don't know anything about his priesthood.  You tried to denigrate him but only denigrated yourself.  Shame on You.

/sic if that doesn't kill your credibility....
But really, yes alot of these girls need help, real help.. help the system is NOT going to give them.. the kinda help of family taking them in, locking them in a room to detox, paying there bills, taking care of there children.  which also.. is NOT going to happen..

Before i moved, i remembered seeing one of the mothers of 4 take a hand out from the candy man on the street corner if you know what i mean.. 2 thoughts raced through my mind.. call da police and protect those kids, and if someone saw this, those kids could end up in foster care, which 9 times out of 10 don't really do much better for them..

I'm afraid you cant help anyone, we have neither the means or the money to do it.  If you really do want to help.. personally help someone, but don't mandate the rest of us pay our hard earned money to rehabilitate people who don't want to help themselves.. Throw them in jail so the rest of us can pay our hard earned money to lock them up...Screwed if you do, screwed if you don't, no?

No one is telling you to stop helping.....it's just that making a system with government $$/mandates etc certainly
will not work either.......and I'm sure you're not being screwed trying to help, why?--because right now that is the fire
inside of you......use it until the oil runs out......PEACE

I can understand you feeling that way, it's not a bad thing to be compassionate..
I personally have very confused / mixed feelings on the subject of punishment vs help for these kind of people..

Like I said before, everyone has their story of woe. But everyone does have the choice to do the right thing.

In my opinion, these 'jobs' were created for people who have a need to be needed. When 'some' people take on these 'helpful/rehab' challenges, it only elevates themselves. Most of these people, the way I see it, can not work in a regular job. The way I perceive it, they need to be around the criminals, prostitutes and drug addicts to validate and elevate themselves.

I personally do not agree with spending tax payer monies to help people who choose NOT to help themselves. Sorry, but I have seen it fail time and time and time again.

Well that's why i have such mixed feelings, i believe we SHOULD help them, but i don't know if CAN help them...
