Yes, bullies, like when Republicans health care plan consist of one major theme: Die faster. Or when Republicans push the elderly over cliffs in their wheelchairs. or when Republicans want kids to have ketchup as a vegetable for lunch. Or when Republicans want to brand single mothers with a scarlet letter. Or when Republicans want medicare to whither on the vine. Or when republicans eat caviar while everyone in the middle class is unemployed...blah blah blah. Are you real, or are you trying to make the Democrats look ridiculous again? You must be a Republican trying to blurt out the same tired cliches the Democrats have used for 30 years because they have no ideas other than to raise spending at quadruple the rate of inflation, create more welfare programs and raise taxes. You sound like one of those round-table discussions on Sunday morning where all the liberal academics and former demorat white house staffers pose as "journalists" and rap Republicans for an hour.

I spit my rice pudding on the screen with that "Squash Puppies" remark.. lol thanks for the chuckle.

See, some conservatives bring good things to life. I laughed when I try to picture Tommasone wearing jackboots and stomping on 3 lb. puppies too.

Spoken like a true BULLY!  There isn't a sensitive bone in the current administration's body when it comes to feeling our pain.  Election Day can't come soon of enough for some of us.  Negative, negative, negative.

wah wah wah. So sad. Cry me a river.

I don't find that humor funny at all.  In fact I find your attitude repulsive.  I know many candidates read this blog and if you are a candidate you do not deserve to be in elective office for your viritol lip.  If you are not a candidate you do more to turn the voters against the Republicans then you do to help them.  Are you nuts?

Cicero--why bash Al Capone.  His niece Diedre Capone just wrote a book a bout a year ago and I spoke directly to her.  She tells all about how kind he was to her as a child.  So you see even a stopped clock is right twice a
day.

That's funny...DeGallo rode on the short bus to school.

Cicero--ROTFLMAO!  Not true but very funny.

Anybody else see an issue with Cal defending a criminal, and "rolling on the floor laughing her a** off" with regard to Frank delGallo riding the "short bus" to school, which is used for direct runs for students with special needs.  As an autism activist and relative to many family members with special needs, I am absolutely disgusted with this posting history.  May God have mercy on your soul...you'll need it, Cal.  You're a sick ticket.

Yep. As I said, a disgrace to the CSJ associate program, the order and all religious.  But don't worry, she'll pray for your soul with her friends that condone removing crosses, supporting terrorists and teaching "compassion" and "tolerance". There, don't you feel better now?

Relax trusty! When talking politics, someone has to inject some humor. Politics is so pathetic, dirty and corrupt,  that ya need to take a break, take a breath and 'make a funny'.  I personally think that when you weed through all of the rhetoric from both sides, there is some good dialog going on. IMHO

Yes, take time to imagine Tommasone is some military get-up with Jackboots! It will make you all chuckle...except for Creeper Peeper who is indignant over any sort of humor, including the idea that clambakes have been banned by the Republicans.

Still waiting for something postive about the current administration. Good town attorney? Caring assessor? Helpful to small business? lol. It's time for a change. Steve had his chance and whiffed. With the bases loaded.

Many REPS are voting for FDG. One party rule is not positive-either way. The only question is how many other new faces will be on Town Bored?

Ok...I agree with the attorney thing. But as far as the assessor...you must be kidding? Right? Do your homework benny. The only caring the 'last assessor' did, was by turning a blind eye to PLENTY! This new guy comes around and 'apparently' does NOT turn a blind eye and people are pissed.

Yup...let's go back to those 'good old days' and vote fdg and crew!! And the only reps that are voting for fdg are the ones that will best benefit. Think City benny! You're smarter than that.

Mcgarry is the ONLY one on the ballot that can balance this town. He is both an employee AND an independent business owner. Smart, energetic, conservative and very well informed. He doesn't have to wait to get into office to see what the problems are before he can fix them. Come on people!

If all these people have all the answers to what's wrong with the town and are convinced they'll work, how come we never hear from them or their actual ideas/plans at bored meetings, public forums, editorials, etc?

I mean, if they're so great, why wait till election time? I would think if you're a business man, and you've got a sure fire idea that can "fix" what's broken - why not bring it up a year or two or 6 before you decide to run for election? Bring them to the table - let's hear them - let's consider them.

So far, I've seen none of the candidates do that.

Still showing signs of bitterness over your tax bill Bumble?  Seems to me you and the "PLENTY" had to pony up after years of not paying your fair share.  Why do you continue to bash the previous assessor?  Could it be you are trying to justify in your mind that it was the right thing to do by dumping him, even though it may have a significant impact on this year's election?  Perhaps maybe Mertz not firing with the voters on Primary Day has you second guessing poliical strategies and the ensueing fallout?

Only you can find some good in hiring Craig Surprise.  As far as turning a blind eye...people are pissed because the "new" handpicked assessor is letting Steve and Co. run the assessor's office as THEY see fit.  Probably the reason Macejka is out.  He wouldn't do Tommasone, Signore, Mertz and Parisi's bidding.

Over the next few days it will become abudently apparent why Craig Surprise was hired.  Check you mailboxes.  LOL
