You are right.  Constantino was a bit corrupt and a jerk in general.  But you knew what he was when you elected him.  Steverino puts on a white shirt and a smirk while he screws the town and then puts another white shirt on the next day.  He is far worse than Constantino and you're right..Constantino was pretty awful.  But he pales compared to Steverino.

Mertz is an arrogant oaf.  And yes you would be wrong about Macejka.  Every year he came to the senior citizen and met with the seniors.  They loved him and he ALWAYS extended himself to them if there was a question or problem.  This I know from personal experience.

You sell FDG short.  He is in business and PEOPLE LIKE HIM!!!!  It will be Dem. rule again.  The others are retreads.  Sorry.

And yet another ridiculous post! Come on cal.....I expected more out of you here! S.T. worse than constantino???? Where the hell is your moral compass these days?

And please be 'specific' in comparison, on why s.t. is worse than constantino. Surely the only people who would thi nk that are the ones that are accustomed to getting their palms greased, favors and deals made with a wink and a nod.

Do your homework cal. Some of us have been around for a very long time and know just about all there is to know in this town.

But please be very very specific on how bad s.t. was or is! And please no rhetoric or generalization. Cause I and the rest of us would really like to know.

I worked 3rd shift last night, so I'm enjoying the day.
And when this election is all said and done, we will have that adult drink together...k?

Al Capone would give food to the poor, it doesn't make him any less of a crook.  Just because seniors liked him, doesn't mean he didn't turn a blind eye on some unethical town practices under Constantino.

Cal you are only involved and informed in the fluff of rotterdam, clearly not the meat and potatoes of it. You are a 'political party' person. You 'go along' just like fdg will. Just because someone was 'good to the seniors at the center', hey, they're ok in your book and should hold a political office. Just because some one is a 'people person', EVEN though he is clearly the most unqualified, they're ok in your book and should hold an elected position. You probably back eunie ....... just because she is a nice person and has been around for decades.

You have YET to be 'specific' as to what EXACTLY (facts) it is or was that s.t. did or does to go down in history as the worst supervisor ever. How did he single handedly bankrupt rotterdam? And ya know why you haven't? Cause ya don't know! All you know and believe as truth, is what your party is feeding you. You just jump in with both feet with no credible facts OR candidates.

Glad to hear that you do know about the senior center and the interfaith groups. That is what libs do. FLUFF! No substance.

Ya see cal, I'm a registered blank. So I can objectively look at all parties and candidates and make my decision based on a vast history and a clear present. I do my homework.....do  yours.k?

You clearly seem smarter than that.

Third....Mertz arrogant? You must be kidding me here. He is the most down to earth, 'people person', compassionate, educated, taxpayer oriented guys that ever graced the town board. He got the boot from the rep party....that should only go to PROVE, that he your typical 'local' rep. He is clearly and independent thinker that only has the taxpayer's interest in mind.

Forth....I agree that suhrada is or at least should be done. Yet another shot in the foot for the reps. They replace suhrada with an environmentalist and another who wants to give tax breaks to people with inlaw apts, which only means a tax increase for the rest? They won't make it. HV, dago and littlefield will be the top 3 contenders. What the hell were they thinking? Or maybe not!

IMHO

Pretty funny stuff there Bumblethru....How do you contain yourself when you see Mertz?  (Every morning in the mirror, eh?)  John Mertz is by FAR the most arrogant, self centered, pompous councilman Rotterdam has ever seen.  But then again you already know that by your own hand.

I think you still have a problem Bumble paying your fair share in taxes as evidence by your bitternes toward the Assessor.  What are you going to do now that you lost the 10K' you were getting from the taxpayers?

Sad Sad Sad  Wow!  Talk about bitter. You have totally lost your way John Boy.  IMHO

Oh cal, I wasn't even going to respond to the stupid accusation. But since you're fairly new and know how to banter with the best of 'em........ OF COURSE I'M NOT! I SWEAR I'M NOT!!!!! But I have also made it clear that I DO support him.

Since  you support fdg.....are YOU fdg? Git what I'm sayin here?

ST ws over his head.  He can't get out of his own way.  He is famous for long dissertations at at meetings.  BORING.  But no reason to go down as the worst Supervisor in the world.  But these are:

He should never have hired Parisi and spent all that extra money on attorneys. Paris has a conflict of interest and ST knows it.  Saccocio is on the Metroplex board--another problem.  That position should have been given to Carolina Lazzari.
He should never have allowed Massullo  to expand that area because of the water drainage problem.
Gave in to the cops re: the REMS tax.  TAx district will create another public employees union.  ST knows the history of the EMS guys can't handle the money.  They are always on the brink of bankruptcy.  The ambulances need to be replaced.  Steve should know there is another viable entity that will bring money into the town it will be able to cover the calls not drop them.  No advantage to creating that tax option.  ST is a flip flopper.  He hated all of that when Paolino suggested such.
Difference between Paolino and ST relative that issue was that Paolino was willing to put it to a vote from the beginning.
What are ST accomplishments--NOTHING.  And on top of everything he is rude to Eunice.  Yeah I am voting for her.  You bet.  Specific enough BT/Mertz.

Cicero--why bash Al Capone.  His niece Diedre Capone just wrote a book a bout a year ago and I spoke directly to her.  She tells all about how kind he was to her as a child.  So you see even a stopped clock is right twice a
day.

Now yer talkin' sister/brother. These are the same issues I have been posting right along. Parisa/Saccocio, rems, flip flopping. But cal, fdg will be or do no different. Instead of parisi/saccoccio, it will be the hand picked business folks and developers that will get the wink and nod. REALLY! It WILL be business as usual.

Godlewski, Dileva, martin will again be the water boys right along with fdg..  And if you think s.t. babbles on and on, have ya ever heard Bob 'no change' God.? OMG!

Dileva is involved in the corrupt city school district. Ya wanna keep her as far from rotterdam politics as possible. And who the heck is this martin guy?

That is why we should be grateful that we DO have another choice. The NNTP. These are all independent thinking guys who just want to make a difference and serve the residents of this town. They are NOT beholden to any party or their bosses. They are the water boys for US, the taxpayers!  They will make a difference if we just give them the chance.

As a side note.....all of these people are probably really nice folks. I have met all but Martin.  I just don't agree with their politics or in the direction they want to lead this town in. And littlefield is or should be a slam dunk at the county level. The county leg is in desperate need of a major overhaul and littlefield is the man for that. IMHO
