You sure on that tax bill Biag?  If you live in Schalmont, tax bill before exemption would be $10,725.  Mohon less.  Of course if you have acreage over 10AC Mr Surprise and Mr Tomassone raised your tax bill pretty good.

I am not running for anything, but am being a scorch. Ultra liberals usually don't have a sense of humor. And if Vadeur went to public school, he has the spelling and grammar impediments as I. It takes people correcting you to fix those over time. So relax Cal, you are scaring people. When they see you being that way they foresee inquisitions, people's courts, reeducation camps, speech laws, political dissenters arrested in the middle of the night and all the things you yourself profess to hate about the Third Reich. So enough of the "hate" accusations" and attempting to declare people you have never met mentally unfit. Those are the things totalitarians do. No government will ever protect you if you give it too much power; it will fill up with people who think like you and grow more monolithic and more dangerous to the notion of a truly free people.

I figured your people have been in the USA long enough to understand freedom of speech, and diversity of opinion, but I often find it is not the case with some immigrants and children (not ALL of them) of immigrants. The old submissiveness to totalitarian ways ware still embedded in their fiber. If you are more than third generation American, then there is no reason for you to fall back on the crutch of granting such power to the institutions of government, police, church or the modern witches of political correctness. We hope that is not the case with you...It can be very frightening to think that people will be jailed for their thoughts and speech, but this is where we are headed in Obama's America.

I went to Shaker High, graduated with a regions diploma.  Went on to college and got my degree.  I run the computer systems for one of our local non-profits, and am very technically proficient.  I like most of the younger generation, don't really take the time to use "proper" English on a forum... is there a reason too?  On most forums, people who correct your grammer are shunned and poked fun of.

Hard to believe anything had 4 bidders in a week...unless they were bidding way low, that is the game these days.okay, so your taxes are how much ?  150 to 175 seems to be the range that people can afford..my hoiuse is assessed at 375,000 taxes 12,000 !!!!!!!!! I will never be able to sell..I guess you cant upgrade in rotterdam.

Ouch.. i understand the "hard to believe" but it really is a dream home in the price range.. in a wonderful community, great property, etc.. and with all the first time home buyers due to the 8k back...t's in there "sweet spot".  My god that is ridiculous for 375k.. ouch.  There were a lot of nice homes in the 150k range i did find w/ taxes around 5800 that i just laughed at..  I have posted previously on how the situation needs to be fixed.  People who are new to there homes in these ranges walk away cause with little invested in it, it's just cheaper to write it off then try to sell and lose money, the "underwater" syndrome.

Oh, gosh, what if i was shunned and made fun of? Then I would be devastated. And all that peer (not pier, that is what you tie off too) pressure, Oyy what to make of it!

But at least I know (no) the difference between new and knew. One is not old and one is a fact I am familiar with. And now you will know too, when you type a letter for your boss, because spellchecker won't catch that. Being a shunned person, I don't use spellcheckers, just like I don't use calculators. As a little boy, in addition to being shunned, I was not allowed to use calculator either while doing arithmetic (which used to be different than math.) All part of growing up in the pre-computer era, in Rotterdam (even though Cal/Blender claims differently.)

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

As far as the taxes go, you need to break it down. The Apparatchiks at the county decided to call your county tax portion on your bill the "Federal and State Mandate charge" so that you could blame the town leaders when you got your bill. You also need to look at the elections charge, which is the broken out portion of the cost of elections in the county, then you need to look at the entirely different school tax bill. It is easy to blame the last few Republicans who run the town for all of these, because they are an unfavored and politically incorrect group currently targeted for elimination by the inside crew, the unions, the special interests, the media, those on the teet, the monolithic Democrat party, the clergy (for the most part) and those who hate the idea of more than one party and one leader in America. As far as taxes go, look to who is really spending and raising, and offering the middle class the least in benefit.

Oh yes, a bully now. Wow, I thought you had a sense of humor, Vadeur. I never bullied anyone in my life, but I did defend some people against bullying. Of course in America, a strong man with an opinion who hasn't been clipped is a bully, is angry, is a cowboy, is a right winger, wears doc Martins, etc, etc. Continued feminizing of the male culture, but that is the goal of socialists. We know all about it...Most of the young males today have been neutered, but the strange thing is, the culture is less respectful, less gentle towards women, more offensive, and more crude. How did your social engineers manage that? Wow!

Jigs, do you have two computers logged in to switch identities or what, that is fast! All three Rotterdam Democrat activists have been on this week in 8 different incarnations! Holy smokes!

How are those debates looking by the way? Getting your people ready? Or won't they go?

Joe/GB--knock it off.  You are the biggest bully on here, although Mertz is a close second.  (Surprising his wife and in-laws haven't knocked that out of him)   By election day you will know that there is more than three Democrats in Rotterdam.  Like I said, should you win, you will be the only nut in a dish of sweets!

I believe that is:

"not pier, that is what you tie too to"

Let he without sin (or fault) cast the first stone (or ridicule).
