There is a group on the far left that has become a cult like following for Obama and that could result in more of the same type of actions happening at various schools. School is no place to force political beliefs on students.

Hey....we do have George Washington day and Lincoln day where there are celebrations and NO WORK. Of course they have changed that to All Presidents Day, but that was decades later. There is also Martin Luther King day. We celebrate Labor day, with a day off from work. We also have Memorial day where we are to remember those that have died for our freedoms.....while we are out camping and having picnics. Basically we are just grateful for a 3 day weekend for whatever they call it. And then of course Thanksgiving (where we can eat like pigs with a legitimate excuse....and the 4th of July for another day off from work to have picnics and outings! We go on to celebrate valentines day, mother's day, father's day and halloween. Not to mention Christmas and Easter...the biggest economy boosters! We, as a society seem the have the need to celebrate SOMETHING!
As far as singing about obama....seems a little creepy to me. It just reminds me of how they do the same thing in China with their dictator.
