WROW plans to "invade" Green Island

The radio station WROW, 590 AM, is planning an invasion of Green Island on Saturday. Morning show hosts Steve and Jackie plan to take on the town to show their disgust with state government and to demonstrate the need for a Recall Revolution.
From the WROW Web site: "We need to stand up and shout 'Enough!!' You work for us!!! We are not going to tolerate it any longer."
Steve and Jackie plan to leave the stations Latham studios at 11:45 a.m., then will travel by Aquaduck to Green Island's River Park, where they expect to be met by the cheers of residents of the village, according to the station's Web site.
The event seems similar to the tea parties and other anti-tax rallies held across the country in recent months. Indeed, organizers from those rallies are set to speak at the WROW event, as is Assemblyman James Tedisco, R-Schenectady.
Why Green Island? That's unclear.
