I heard something about this.  I find it hard to believe, that this could happen in Shardon Ct. area.  Doesn't the Rotterdam Chief and the County Sheriff live in Eldorado Acres?

Perhaps it was stolen and they are still investigating before they release any information.

NO neither live in El Dorado.  Gordie Pollard lives in the city and the Chief lives close but not in El Dorado.  Ask Steve T for answers.  His bro should know!

Ahhh,,,,, I thought one of the Hamilton's lived in Eldorado.  I stand corrected.  I was refering to Buffardi when I said Sheriff, I guess I should have said former Sheriff.

ROTTERDAM
Officer suspended after off-duty crash

BY JUSTIN MASON Gazette Reporter

A veteran Rotterdam police officer was suspended without pay for more than two weeks after he crashed his 2008 Honda into two parked cars while off duty and then left the scene of the accident earlier this month, sources said.
Sources confirmed Sgt. Daniel Ryan, 38, received a 15-day suspension without pay after being cited for the traffic infractions of moving from a lane “unsafely” and leaving the scene of a property damage accident along Country Walk Road at 2:23 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9.
The suspension took effect immediately following the crash, which investigators estimated caused more than $1,000 worth of repairs to the cars, according to the sources.
Two tickets provided by the Rotterdam Town Court confirm Ryan ...........>>>>............>>>>.........http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....1&Continuation=1

The accident didn't get buried quite deep enough.

So, we finally get the story that he's been suspended without pay (I wonder who screwed up on the latest police contract for that to happen) so long ago that he'll be back on the job on Monday morning.  Thanks for the quick reporting, Gazette...unless this was hidden by someone inside the police/court system until now.
