Health Care Town Halls Turn Violent in Tampa and St. Louis
A town hall meeting to discuss President Obama's health care reform descended into shouting and violence in a Tampa, Fla., suburb Thursday as angry opponents clashed with event organizers.

Town hall scuffle

Town hall meetings called to discuss proposed health care legislation turned violent Thursday, with a meeting in Tampa, Fla., descending into shouting and one in St. Louis ending in arrests.

Close to 1,500 people came to the Tampa suburb of Ybor City to speak with Democratic State Rep. Betty Reed and U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, an event that exploded into a near riot.

According to local media reports, the larger-than-expected crowd gathered outside the Hillsborough County Children's Board building, where several hundred people, most of whom opposed a government health care plan, began to loudly chant and scuffle with organizers posted at doorways after the auditorium filled to capacity.

A freelance videographer was roughed up in an altercation, which damaged his camera equipment and glasses, and at least one man was treated for minor injuries after a scuffle left his shirt partially torn from his body.

"That's the most violent anyone has been towards me," Mark Bishop told WTSP-TV. "It was surprising, to say the least."

Seniors are mad as hell at Obama who wants to force them into government run socialism and end of life panels. Obama and his KRATS are tanking in every poll. At some point it will hit Schenectady County where nit wit KRAT politicos keep getting re-electing with token {or no} opposition.

these would not be violent if the outlaws staid home and quit trying to go against the president with the brooks brother suits and diamond watches and that there. The insurance giants and millionares are all lining up to make trouble and stop the progress over there. the people are rising against them and someone will get hurt NOT THE PEOPLE JUST THE RICH ONES WITH THE SUITS

This health care beast will be a battle to the end in a nation that is as polarized as I can ever remember!

And my prediction is that the dems will pay dearly in the next election and obama will not end up with a democratic majority! THEN he'll have his work cut out for him!

SEIU is defending the 'spare us the cost' clause for the unions......they like their racketteers and the mouth pieces that speak for
them......

I have to say....working in a nursing home has given me insight to how some things are 'greased' and Schenectady and it's outlying
burbs have been a wheel---more like a water wheel to move $$.....bullying by the unions was common place...purchase of votes
threats of house burnings, car sabotage etc etc.....all the way to the kids in school....shame shame shame....

then there are the politicos with the "I know how you feel. I can fix it." all the while taking $$ from both parties.....

gangsta gumbas......if things stand on their own for their value/worth/usefulness etc then who gets to be in charge?

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I have been thinking about how much Obama has "united" the nation lately with his radical schemes and even more radical bureaucrats like Ezekiel Emmanuel. What do you think about his moderation and unification plan?

GB those plans are just as good as his government transparency plan and no special interest plan.

I cant just blame this on Obama....over the past 20years the face of medical care has changed....not of it's own accord either...
watch for the czars of past.....there is a thread that is of a different nature in the fabric and both political parties take their
turn at weaving it.....

WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.....

if it sounds too good to be true-------we all know the rest.....
