Thruway paving planned between exits 23 and 24
    SCHENECTADY — The state Thruway Authority will pave a five-mile section of the interstate between exits 23 and 24 starting Monday, if weather permits. The $5 million project is slated for completion in November.
    The work will begin at Exit 23 at 6 p.m. and will involve pavement repairs and resurfacing along both the northbound and southbound lanes from milepost 141 to 146.
    The project also includes paving the entrance and exit ramps of exits 23 and 24, Exit 25 and Exit 25A.
