How does a D student from lousy Occidental College get into Columbia University and then Harvard Law School? Hint look to the Saudi's. Was CNN president Jon Klein hoping for an off-screen Face Off with host Lou Dobbs? Klein sent "Lou Dobbs Tonight" staffers an email on Thursday saying that the controversy surrounding the legitimacy of President Obama's birth certificate—one of Dobbs' pet topics of late—is a "dead" story. In the email, Klein elaborated that CNN researchers had determined that Hawaiian officials tossed out paper documents in 2001—thus, Obama's long-form birth certificate no longer exists and a shorter certificate of live birth that has been made public is the official record. "It seems to definitively answer the question," he continued. On Friday, however, Klein softened his tone, saying that he wasn't ordering the staff to drop the story. "He's got more than 30 years as a television journalist, and I trust him, as I trust all our reporters and anchors, to exercise their judgment as various stories evolve," Klein said of Dobbs. Meanwhile, the president of the Southern Poverty Law Center, a major civil rights group, has asked Klein to take Dobbs off the air for his role in perpetuating the conspiracy theory.
If and when they find his 'real' birth certificate, and if he was NOT born in this country....that would make every single law he signed, null and void! Do I hear an AMEN!

Another claim about Obama circulating on the internet concerns whether or not he is actually eligible to run for the Presidency. Once again the Obama campaign has bungled a matter that should be fairly easy to resolve by ponying up a copy of Obama’s birth certificate. Here is what first appeared at Daily Kos and is now on the Obama fear the smear site.
This is not a “Birth Certificate.” The title alone is troublesome. I am looking at the Birth Certificates for my wife and me. We were born in Missouri. The documents state, “Certificate of Live Birth.” I check my son’s, who was born in the District of Columbia. It also states, “Certificate of Live Birth.”
Barack’s campaign is offering up a “CERTIFICATION.” That’s different. A normal Certificate also includes:
1. No attending physician signature or license number 2. No address for the attending physician or hospital 3. No parent signature 4. No parent DOB or age of parent or parent place of birth. 5. Father’s race would not be “African”, that is country of origin. Race would be black or Negro (1960’s) 6. Was this a single birth or multiple birth. 7. No Registrars name or signature.
Can anyone out there in blog land come up with a copy of what a legitimate Hawaiian birth certificate circa 1960-62 would look like?
So what is Barack hiding? Can we get a straight, clear answer?
And to my knowledge, one cant get into school with a certificate of live birth...only a birth certificate.

My daughter's birth certificate from New York says "Certificate of Live Birth". I hope she can get into college. Elementary school was no problem.
I lost my original birth certificate so that all I have is a "Certification of Birth" issued by the Registrar of Vital Statistics in the City in which I was born. The certification signed by the registrar says I was born on the day indicated in the city indicated and provides my registration number.
I was able to use this certificate for everything -- enrolling in schools included.
By contrast Obama's "certification" includes alot more detail than mine, including the place, hour and time of his birth and his parents' names.
I think the point is that the state of Hawaii has affirmatively stated they recorded the registration of the President's birth and attest to same.
Barrack Obama was born in Kenya, Africa to his Mother and Father Barrack Obama Sr who under law of Kenya you must denounce your citizenship to any other country to become married. Barry Sorrento Obama was later adopted by his new step father and became a citizen of Indonesia when his Mother then remarried and certified that Barrack was not a citizen of any other country to attend School there. To date Barrack Obama travels the world on a Indonesian passport.
The state of Hawaii does not have a certified birth certificate on file showing Barrack Obama was born in Hawaii, however they do have a notice of live birth which shows that Obama was born, which Barrack Obama’s Mother later filed some 12 year later to allow Barrack Obama to attend school in America while he stayed at his Grandparents home.
If it's not a big deal, why not show the world the true, original certified copy and put an end to this scam?
