A man accused of robbing a market and leading police on a car chase was indicted this week on two felony charges, Schenectady County District Attorney’s officials said. Guiseppe Cianfarani, 33, of 3290 Harold St., Rotterdam, was indicted on one count each of first- and second-degree robbery. He also faces several traffic infractions. Cianfarani was arrested April 26 after a car chase that ended in an open field, police said then. He was accused of robbing a clerk at the Unity Market at 2337 Van Vranken Ave., displaying a handgun and demanding cash. Cianfarani then jumped into a vehicle with the proceeds, police said, and fled. The clerk was able to write down his plates. He was spotted nearby and followed, hitting a Cadillac on Erie Boulevard at Interstate 890, according to police. Cianfarani then continued to Rice Road, leading police on a chase to Mariaville, finally ending on Scotch Church Road, turning his truck into a fi eld and getting stuck in a ditch, reports said. ..............>>>>............>>>>..........http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....amp;EntityId=Ar01501
