They have nothing else because the Schenectady County Democrat Party has him locked up in a sound proof bunker with his phone lines cut so nobody can ask him a question. He's like Sloth from Goonies, chained up in the local Democrat campaign headquarters basement.
I would like to see his 2007 tax bill compared to his 2009 tax bill. I hear that's what motivated him to run for office. IMHO
I have seen him walking around town talking to residents every week.... that's some bunker you're talking about. |

I'm talking about Gazette reporter Justin Mason's attempts to contact him for the past two weeks by phone, as well as going to his store. A good question to ask him is how he fared after the town reval. I'm sure he was barely affected since all structural improvements on his property were properly and legally documented at the town assessors office by our previous assessor. His assessment may have went up or down a few thousand dollars I'd guess. |

Fran Del Gallo pays more taxes than all the posters here added together. He has every right to be mad as hell. Funny to hear self described fiscal CONS, happy with the incumbent, happy with Mr Surprise, happy with chasing away small businesses, happy with the town attorney. DEM bunker? lol- The other party has been in a bunker for the last 6 years. It's time to take off the uniforms and come out. |

FDG's assessment went up (because he was paying so little since 1985) He got mad. You, me and the telephone pole were paying to help him live up there. |

Benny, you believe that it's ok to continue to upgrade your property, building multiple large structures and not pay taxes on it for nearly 2 decades? Delgallo may have payed more taxes overall, but not proportionately to the value of his property. And unfortunately, the property tax code taxes you by your means. Should Delgallo get elected, is that the precedent that he's going to set? I would love a nice 20 X 12 addition on to my house, but the added taxes are making me think twice about it. Must be nice to nearly double the market value of your home and not have your assessment go up a dime. I guess that's one way to get rich. |

No question McGarry is a fine candidate. But folks don't trust a newly created "party" that has no gravitas to make it. I do think Littlefield will make it but NNTP has no momentum. I do think disgruntled Reps--and there are many, will vote for McGarry. DelGallo has name recognition. And it isn't just that he has money, it's how he made his money. An entrpreneur who can run business successfully. Frankly I don't care if he's voted or not. Maybe he was content to go with the status quo until Tommasone bankrupted the town and hired a thug for an assessor. And btw, many Italians, certainly not all, because they are disenchanted with the EGO. Molly is right no reasons have been identified why he can't be supervisor. Ego is a talker, FDG is a doer. He will win. |

Live lavishly??? I would buy tickets to see any of you do the type fo physcial work he does each day. ST would faint just watching. It is amazing how bitter you are as a group toward someone who has picked himself up by his boot straps and become a success. Like I said before, there are no gaps in FDG's resume. I dare say that isn't true for Ego, Buchanan and others. LOL |

I applaud FDG for his accomplishments. Nobody's questioning his ability to make money. The question is, did he knowingly add hundreds of thousands of dollars in property value to his property an not pay tax on it for the past 15 to 20 years? And for those FDG supporters, do you believe EVERY resident in Rotterdam should be able to do the same? |

The residents of Rotterdam should appreciate that rep chair Parisi took to task the competency and literacy of the dem candidate for Rotterdam Town Supervisor fdg. It is important for the residence to be informed as to the caliber of ALL the candidates, dems or reps, in areas such as intelligence, education level achieved, and in some cases even citizenship status(like Barack Obama), when we are voting for who leads this town. With all the mailers, robo calls, and other confusing information, I am glad to see that Parisi and the rep party leadership, endorsed candidates that have been thoroughly vetted. To assure the residents the minimum of a high school education of ALL of rep endorsed candidates in Schenectady County.
With republicans Viscusi, Barre, Suhrada, Tommasone, and Signore. We can at least trust they are equip with a high school diploma to bring into office with them if elected. Right? |

Based on the spacing and line breaks in your post, it certainly appears that you're copying and pasting from another source. This isn't the first time I've noticed it. Is someone else writing your replies and you're pasting them here? |

Another jackass statement. Do you think any of your tax dollars paid for him to do anything? I'm sure he's paid more taxes in a year then you have in a lifetime. Who has been paying for who? Is this the type of stupid stuff people come up with when they are losing and so very scared??? |

Yeah like anyone I really know would spend time answering your silly posts. I am inadvertently causing it because I am an old typing teacher and don't like to see words broken in the middle and carried over to the next line without benefit of being broken at the syllable. I am not the only one who does that MT. BTW MT do you have nothing better to do than criticize all day. Copying and pasting?? MT you need to join BT in the Yoga class. |
