You've been reading too much Dan Brown.  A book built on bad theology.
I loved the book! It was riveting. Edge of your seat. Dan Brown wrote a fictional book based on history. All books are written with fact and fiction intertwined. If anyone actually read the book or saw the movie and thought for one minute that it was fact.....they need to go back to sesame street.

That's what Brown does so excellently. He takes historic facts and blends them with 'fiction'. If ya went to buy the book, it wasn't in the religious or non-fiction section. It was in the FICTION section.

Sure, the history channel took right off on that one and had show after show about it. And what did that do? It sold more books for Brown. It was never written on the basis of theology. ALL books are written with some fact and some fiction. Brown just happened to do it with religion. Brilliant!! And he touched on a subject that touches the very soul of all believers and created controversy. Tell me that is not brilliant!

I looked at the pond on Google Earth and there does no appear to be any embankment that is holding water, so it is a dug pond not a dam.  There is nothing shown as flowing into the pond and a small area where there is a drainage outflow.  The pond perimeter is all grassed, there is no erosion or settlement issue.  Do you know how deep the pond is?  It may be only a foot deep posing no threat at all.  A lot of allegations by someone who works for EnCon and should know if this is a violation.  What ordinances are you referencing?

I noticed your post was on a work day during work hours.  Hope you aren't blogging on tax payer dollars.  Also, does/will the Hatch act apply to you as a government employee?  Is your salary federally funded?  Will you vote/rule on federal projects in Schenectady County?  I'm far from an FDG fan, but these mudslinging inuendoes really cheapens you as a candidate.  I heard you speak once at a meeting and I never would have thought this of you.  Try a more positive campaign strategy, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

Hi Avon,

Thanks for asking questions.  My posts are always done in the early morning, it's now 7:05 a.m. or evening and from home.  My office work day doesn't start until 8:45 so I can car pool.  I have clearance from DEC and from the Commission on Public Integrity to run for office.  I'm not federally funded.  I have recused myself in the past as co-chair of RCAC when necessary and will do that again as a County Leg.

If you heard me at a meeting, you know I deal in facts and present information without spin.  I am not political, I'm issue oriented.  I helped draft the erosion and sediment control ordinance that was mandated by the stormwater management program passed down from the feds to the state to every municipality. I give credit to people who dedicate their time for a good cause despite their political affiliations. I have always raised my concerns on environmental issues to the town hall folks and will continue to do so. I raised them here on the pond and look at alll the information and facts that were presented.  As I said, I was asked about the pond. So I checked it out here. I have been asked about the Marotta property, and trucks leaking fluids up Mariaville Road to name a few examples of things I have inquired about to the authorities. I work in contaminated sites and my expertise is not in pond building. Mr. DelGallo's pond is now a non-issue thanks to everyone that helped answer the questions. Raising awareness is always a good thing. It's how people learn and avoid mistakes.

I applied for a curb cut for my driveway and a building permit for a small barn for my rural Rotterdam property.  I have been greatly helped by town civil servants through the process.  They are always willing to help the residents of this town. We should be proud to have them on the payroll. I am very concerned that everyone follow the rules. Innocent people don't always know the rules. It's always a good idea to give a call to local government offices for assistance.

Have a nice day!

Mary--nobody cares if you post during the day at your office or not.  That is just dumb.  RE: your "joy" at interacting with the civil servants.  We need names.  My daughter is still waiting for ST to call her back about a serious problem re: her property.  Otjher than Eunie and Dawn Pasquariello you have a bunch of losers that we hope will soon be put our of business by the DelGallo team.  Last time people got any real service in the Town was when the Paolino administration was in.  Because he didn't care what party you belonged to, they moved quickly on the issue.

You should have left the Delgallo property out of your rhetoric--I told you it was a non-issue that could only hurt your campaign.  Stay on track--good luck.  (POST WHEN YOU WANT TO-NOBODY CARES ABOUT THAT EXCEPT PEOPLE WITH TOO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS)

I guess that is between them and the boss.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

As long as it's not on MY dime. (taxes)
Or ANY taxpayer's dime! I know they frown upon that in at the guilderland town hall. Well, that's what they told me.

In reality isn't this a forum and not a blog?  a blog is more like an online journal with one person posting everything?

Mary is a State employee and should not be posting her nonsense about a pond at work. And yes Cal/Sal we do care about wasting taxpayer money.

With 3 weeks to go until Election Day you would think they would finally be on County issues? No they come up with idiotic attacks on Del Gallo that are all backfiring. This proves 2 things-that Del Gallo is way ahead-that the REP County candidates are way behind.

Vote only for BRAD LITTLEFIELD for County Legislator-ROW F-Rotterdam/Duanesburg/Princetown/Delanson.

Like I stated before....M.B. is clearly insignificant in this race, so the reps will use her as the attack dog. And she is allowing them to. Not good political strategy.

And the taxpayers in NYS pay the salaries of the state workers, so that would make the taxpayers "the boss."
Hence, it is OUR business if a state employee is posting comments to a website during working hours.
