Quoted from CICERO
Yeah...Get off his pond.  Let's talk about his inability to put a sentence together, and practically incoherent when he speaks.

I would like to see him win, just so I could witness him chairing the town board meetings.  At least he would offer entertainment value.

Yes I agree that he not able to put a sentence together.  I am still really unable to grasp why he is running for Supervisor.

The beautiful black-hearted Holly Vellano was probably for the reval before she was against it and then for it all over again.  Hope Littlefield and Dags leave HV in the dust.

Drop the issue Mary--doesn't matter house or the lake.  It was there WHEN he purchased the property.  It's a non-issue and a losing issue for Barrie to keep going after it.

Maybe you should take your own advice. You'd never make it with a vow of silence.

Well said! My prediction....littlefield and HV. Dago only won last time by 6 or 7 votes. She was very weak in duanesburg and we know littlefield has that one tied up.

Barrie the environmentalist and viscusi the 'tax breaks for in-law apts' are all but done. Their only use now is to be the attack dogs for the reps. IMHO

I heard that some business folks in town are getting phone calls from other businesses to back fdg. There are many seasoned rotterdam business people in town that are not only skeptical of fdg but also the idea that the 'old' assessor may be back. MANY do not want that scenario played out again in town.

For supervisor-my prediction is.........it will be between mcgarry and s.t..

HV aka Dolly Mascara, will be way out of her comfort zone on the legislature.  She does not have the gravitas to sit with that group.  You need to know something more than the sublte differences between Maybelline and Eve Arden.

Littlefield and Dags--because even though Dags has some baggage, she's better than HV.  (didn't know Dags was weak in Duanesburg last time)

BT--Delgallo will pull this off.  Old assessor won't come back.  He's happy in Guilderland and doing a good job there.  Surprise has to go.  The business community want fdg.  McGarry is a very attractive choice but I do not believe he can pull in the votes.  It will be fdg.

BT--however, should I be wrong about fdg, I will be the first to congratulate whoever the winner is via this blog even if I have to choke out ST.  Again I say, McGarry is a very attractive candidate because he LISTENS.  ST went deaf when he was a councilman.

Time will tell. And there is still time left. And remember that there is more to this community than just the business folks.
And the 'old' assessor is still a bitter old man. If the 'old' assessor doesn't come back at a higher rate of pay(?)....than someone with the same mind thought will. What in God's name does fdg think that he can do to change the reval? I mean really......WHAT? Lower everyone's? Bring it back to the way it was before the reval? Have another reval done? Lower the taxes of the few? That wouldn't be anything new.

And exactly WHO is going to make these decisions for him? REALLY!

I don't know what he can do about the reval.  But there definitely has to be an opportunity to bring things in line.  I have no idea who could be the new assessor and what we could expect.  Let's hope the council will be transparent and a support to fdg if he makes it.  I would also hope that for McGarry.  The former  group was a bad actors club.  Here I don't think, save suhrada, that the others running are any of that.  I think Signore is innocuous and a bit player.  He just wants to hang out with his friends.  Your points and questions are very good.
