Well Buble I cannot be moved on my thinking on ST.  However, I met McGarry last night and he was
very nice.  Not sure what he stands for.  Of course you need to vote what your gut tells you but I will vote for Littlefield but have to pull the lever for Delgallo.  He is getting a bad rap from some on this blog and the anti-Italian remarks and slurs are obnoxious.

If you are voting the NNTP line what do you keep saying you don't have a horse in this race?  This is my last race here in Rotterdam.  Next Year Albany County for me.  Democrats know they are Dems there.

Cal-- Sal's definition of a CONS is a Ted Kennedy style liberal. Not exactly a Bill Buckley CONS?

He's right about one thing-somethings afoot and this is the last election when the same incumbent DEM is on every slate.

that is odd.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

That would be FDG's string puller, Brian Cechnicki.

YEAH, APPARENTLY HE IS EVEN ADMITTING THIS. If I was Frank DelGallo I would ask him to step down as my treasurer.

What will happen if fdg is elected and is the minority? What then?

Then it will be business as usual for the Reps.  And once again the Rotterdam electorate will be the laughing stock of the Capital District---which they are and have been and were all the way to the Patacki administration.

NEWSFLASH: According to insider sources, there will be no Sheriff's election this November. The "machine" is scared of Joe Lazzari so they will postpone installing the new sheriff until September. The election will be held November 2010. This way he can corner any opponent (if any).

Oh yes, you have been just dead on with this.

Schenectady County politics, and the County electorate have been the laughing stock of Capital District politics for decades.  Frank Delgallo has a major party endorsement for town supervisor.  Has anybody sat down and talked to him?  That's laughable.

Sorry, Cal, not a tactic, just a legitimate concern.  The pond is over an acre in size.  That's a lot of water.  I have heard Mr. DelGallo builds a good pool.  I just hope he builds a good pond. High rain events can cause a lot of damage when dams/impoundment structures fail.  That's why there is a sound process for getting permits if and when necessary. It's about protecting natural resources and public safety.

The RCAC drafted an erosion and sediment control ordinance a few years ago.  We were the first town in the County to draft and adopt such an ordinance.  Holly Vellano was an active and valuable participant in that ordinance. So clearing such a large tract of land was also a concern I have and will continue to have anywhere in town.

I just like to make sure that residents are aware of ordinances on the books.  They are there for good reasons. Many times responsible citizens don't even know they are not in accordance with the law.

I looked at the pond on Google Earth and there does no appear to be any embankment that is holding water, so it is a dug pond not a dam.  There is nothing shown as flowing into the pond and a small area where there is a drainage outflow.  The pond perimeter is all grassed, there is no erosion or settlement issue.  Do you know how deep the pond is?  It may be only a foot deep posing no threat at all.  A lot of allegations by someone who works for EnCon and should know if this is a violation.  What ordinances are you referencing?

I noticed your post was on a work day during work hours.  Hope you aren't blogging on tax payer dollars.  Also, does/will the Hatch act apply to you as a government employee?  Is your salary federally funded?  Will you vote/rule on federal projects in Schenectady County?  I'm far from an FDG fan, but these mudslinging inuendoes really cheapens you as a candidate.  I heard you speak once at a meeting and I never would have thought this of you.  Try a more positive campaign strategy, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

I'm not a fan of fdg either, but very well said AVON!

And yet again that IS what fdg does....digs holes and puts water in them!

I personally think that the reps know that she is insignificant in this race and it appears that they will use her as their attack dog. Funny how the reps have resorted to mudsling and the dems just mail out non-factual campaign fliers. Only in Schenectady County!!
