You may want to rethink Grahams sage advice.

Guards maybe needed for the one party knuckleheads that will show up. From both sides. Don't except everyone to be respectful and ask relevant questions. The hacks are worried about the growing support NNTP is enjoying. Brad Littlefield's smashing victory in the charade debate only fuels their concerns. Keep going Michael-walk them into the ground.

Mike O'Connor has grown on me and lot of other people. I have been critical of him in the past, but find myself admiring his attitude, work ethic and vision. He is getting a lot of votes out there from people in all parties and I will predict he wins with his shoe leather campaign. People who are in my circle have taken a liking to him and he gets their support. We may not agree on everything, but unlike the democat party, we needn't be lockstep in each and every issue and work as if we have one brain. He made a few mistakes early on in my opinion, but his gumption pays off.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

The way I see it, and in my opinion, oconner will be a plus for the town board. It appears that the guy will work with anyone and all parties for the benefit of the town and the taxpayers.

Again, Toooo close to MERTZ to be taken as a plus for the Town.  Goes to show you what level people will go to for a vote.  He had the chance to distance himself from MERTZ and he didn't.  Mike's running mate is MERTZ, who is a person who can't be trusted, has been sh*t canned form half a dozen political jobs and is a man without a Party.  One thing Parisi got right and that was dumping MERTZ, the way Pataki did, Spitzer, Tedisco, Kolb, Amedore and the voters of Rotterdam did.

O'Connor looks better and better especially when compared to his Schenectady School District opponent. Her sauce recipe is the latest attempt to curry ethnic appeal.

I was just on Draper Ave NNTP and Brad Littlefield signs are coming out like mushrooms at a summer rain. Something is going on....people are sick of twedle dee and tweedle dum candidates.

Again it goes to show how short sighted and NIMBY gumba gangstas can be......no foresight kitty? you like status
quo??? oh that's right--"you wouldn't want to waste a vote" IYHO----you only like to be on a 'winning' team even if it
is stuck in the mud.......

I think you will be pleasantly surprised when the NNTP train is flying down those rails and you are left carrying your
hobo baggage.....

It ISN'T just about Rotterdam------WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's perfect.  All 4 candidates running on the NNTP are men without parties.  They all had to primary for endorsement. That is what is so appealing about them.  We both have gone back and forth on how Democrat leadership in the past sucked and how the current Republican leadership sucks.

Mertz may be out of favor with the Party leaders.  But he faired pretty well in his primary, and does even better with the independents.

Faired pretty well??  You can't be serious, Cissy.  He got beat by over 100 votes and you say faired pretty well?  Win a Primary and your message is being heard by your core supporters.  I never heard of a candidate that lost a major primary election then won the general election.  You have got to be in some sort of denial John I mean Cissy.

You've never witnessed an election that had Row 'F' on the ballot that was created by 4 candidates gathering over 1300 signatures of non party affiliated residents without the help of an organized party either.  Much of John's support was not that of the party faithful.  So you can deny that all you want.  The fact remains that there are motivated voters out there that don't take their marching orders from the Dems, Reps, or Cons.  Just a little new dynamic that the major party bosses are not so sure how to handle.  So they take the approach you are taking and marginalize them.  We'll see if that is the winning strategy.

Oh you poor thing.  1300 signatures big whup.  Averages out to be about 325 signatues per candidate.  Do we even know if the signatures are authentic?  Live in Rotterdam or countywide for Brad's interests?  Did anyone challenge the veracity of the signatures? Do you really think these 1300 people are going to vote NNTP if they vote at all?

Nobody is marginilizing anything.  I am just a casual observer who knows a thing or two about primarys and Brian, Mertz and Brad are DOA.  OConnor has a chance but with Stan the Man on the Indep. line his chances are slim in a close election.

One week and this board essentially goes into hibernation.  In some cases like Mertz, he is already searching out his cave.

So are you saying that you wouldn't even make the effort yourself? status quo is okay with you?....if you have been
around long enough, then I'm sure you have been around too long....and you are truly saying NO to changing
anything at all.....not changing anything here(except maybe your own interests), not changing anything countywide
not changing anything statewide, not changing anything nationally........

you truly are an old cat with a worn out scratching post......too bad Poedunk Puddycat

Bad, PuddyCat, bad!  Soon there will be a BIG DOG in the house, you will be neutered, and either be put out to become an outdoor cat (only to look in the windows) or locked in a travel kennel.  Enjoy your special litter time now.

And what you believe is a canary that you swallowed is a fur ball that you got from licking yourself too much.

I am voting for the "team" who will give Town Hall back to the people.  Lets face it senders, right now TH is being run by outsiders, slick lawyers and a George Bush like dimwit.  I have said that if the FDG crew can't get it done then we change that but I think the scratching post belongs to Tommasone, Signore, Suhrada and Parisi. The way they clawed their way thru this election cycle speaks volumes for the people they really are.

My interests are for the betterment of the Town and it's people, not myself.  I am at peace in one week one way or another.  My tweety bird is my true first love.
