ROTTERDAM — A woman died in a car crash on I-890 this afternoon. The woman, who was driving westbound, crossed into the eastbound lane at 3:22 p.m. and struck an oncoming vehicle, police said. Accident victim a Sch’dy resident ROTTERDAM — Police have released the identity of a Schenectady woman who died in a car crash on Interstate 890 Monday. Jessica Sebast, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene after her vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane at 3:22 p.m. and struck an oncoming vehicle driven by Michael Boccino, 36, of Greenwich, Conn. Investigators said Sebast apparently lost control of her car shortly before the collision. Both Boccino and his passenger, 39-year-old Shannon Boccino, were hurt in the crash but are expected to survive their injuries.. They were taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital. Police did not provide any further details about the crash. They said an investigation of the accident is ongoing.
