I have NO problem throwing the book at this guy. BUT, why is it that when some animal molests a child, or rapes a little boy, he gets 3-5 years and then has to be put back out into the community? Does anyone see the incongruity of this? "Somebody" -what did they teach you at the seminary about molesting and the sentences that one might face? I mean, will you use your Catechism to defend letting molesters off easy? Can we hear it? Let's face it, the Church heirarchy has become the defender of all evil in this land, and you being a part of it will surely want to protect the guilty. Of course now that the old school priests have been driven off or has passed into God's hands, the local Bishop's gang is always first to protect the sex offenders in our community. Don't take my words for Catholic bashing since I am Catholic. I just hate the idea that the Church is used by Satan now as a tool to promote evil. But that is to be expected.
Will anyone post stories on this thread about the sentences child molesters get? I would like to do some comparisons if anyone is interested. My instinct tells me the comparisons will show that the secular society, judges, liberals, and the organized religion have conspired to make child rape an offense that gets little or no retribution in respect to other crimes. Comments???

SCHENECTADY — Convicted rapist Joseph Kruppenbacher will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being sentenced this morning to 76 1/3 to 79 years in state prison, the maximum penalty for his violent attacks against four prostitutes.
The 63-year-old Albany man was convicted in March of rape, sexual abuse, kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment and assault. He attacked the women in desolate parts of Rotterdam in January, February and April 2008.
I must live a fairly sheltered life - I don't even remember that making news last year, let alone in Rotterdam.
It seems that if a man rapes an adult woman, he is charged with rape. But if a man rapes a child, he is called a sex offender or child molester. They all come with different sentences and punishments.
And somehow, they equate any sexual crime against a child to a possible rehabilitation for the abuser. However, that is not the case with an adult sex crime.
If they can lock this guy away that long WHY NOT CHILD RAPISTS AND MOLESTERS?
